WHAT THE LORD WILL DO (I)

…I WILL show you: I WILL make you a great nation; I WILL bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing – Genesis 12:1a-2

Psalm 84:11 says, “…the LORD WILL give grace and glory…” Scriptures consistently affirm God’s WILLINGNESS to act positively towards and on behalf of His people. For example, God made a definite commitment of His Willingness to Abram, His Covenant-friend: “I WILL SHOW you…I WILL MAKE…I WILL BLESS you…” (Gen.12:1-3). We who believe in Christ are witnesses to and partakers in the Blessings of Abraham (Gal.3:9).

I am therefore highly expectant in faith that I shall witness the active demonstration of God’s WILL in all dimensions of my life this year. I also know that when God says “I WILL…” no one can debar Him! No demon, circumstance, situation or condition can turn back the hand of the Almighty God from bringing His WILL to pass!

If you believe, join me in affirming what I believe the Lord WILL do for me this New Year:

• God who blessed Abraham WILL BLESS me exceedingly (Gen.12:1-3)
• God who inclined unto David WILL LISTEN to me attentively (Psa.40:1)
• God who hears prayers WILL HEAR and attend to me responsively (Psa.65:2)
• God who answers by awesome deeds in righteousness WILL ANSWER me powerfully and promptly (Psa.65:5; 102:2)
• God the Judge of all judges WILL AVENGE me of my adversaries speedily (Lk.18:5-8)
• God whose Word runs very swiftly WILL RESCUE me swiftly from every danger (Psa.147:15)
• God, the Great Deliverer of Israel WILL DELIVER me to the uttermost in the day of trouble (Psa.50:15)
• God, the Defender of David WILL DEFEND the “city” of my life absolutely for His own sake (Isa.37:35)
• God, Jehovah-Rapha who suffered to save me WILL restore health to me and HEAL me totally (Jer.30:17)
• God, my Very Present Help WILL HELP me greatly and that right early (Psa.46:5).
