WHAT THE LORD WILL DO (IV)

The LORD WILL PERFECT that which concerns me: Your mercy, O LORD, endures for ever: Do not forsake the works of Your hands – Psalm 138:8

We are still meditating on ‘What God WILL DO’! We have affirmed thirty of God’s promised deeds. Let’s take a look at another set of ten of His wondrous works. All of these and more could be summed up in one confession: “The LORD WILL PERFECT that which concerns me, all aspects of my life – spiritual, mental, physical, marital, material, financial, and social.

Again, if you believe, join me in affirming what God WILL DO in our lives this New Year:

• The Holy One of Israel, who found and anointed King David, WILL ANOINT me powerfully (Psa.89:20)
• God, who found Jacob in waste and lifted him to wealth WILL LIFT me exceedingly (Dt.32:10-14)
• God, who elevates the poor out of the dust to sit with princes, WILL POSITION me honourably (Psa. 113:7-8)
• God, who promoted Mordecai against all odds, WILL PROMOTE me permanently (Est.6:10, 8:2,15, 9:4)
• God, who granted Jabez’s request and enlarged his coast WILL ENLARGE me extensively (1 Chr.4:10)
• The Perfect Potter who turns marred clay into a masterpiece WILL TRANSFORM my life positively (Jer.18:4)
• The Shepherd of Israel who dug Joseph out of the dungeon WILL ANNOUNCE me conspicuously (Gen.41:14)
• God, who dignified the virgin Mary with His visitation WILL DIGNIFY me divinely (Lk.1:28)
• God who decorated Esther with royalty and stardom WILL DECORATE me exquisitely (Est.2:17)
• God who crowned Esther with royalty and stardom WILL CROWN me gloriously (Est.2:17)

Beloved, you and I are the works of God’s hands. He will never forsake the works of His own hands. Ephesians 2:10 declares: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” This is my confession: “I am God’s special project. I am His workmanship by creation and His masterpiece by redemption. Therefore, the Lord WILL PERFECT that which concerns me!” Alleluia!!
