Genesis 3: 8-24

Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “WHERE are you?” – Genesis 3:9

Although the Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient, God can bless you at any time, in anyway, and in any place, in His eternal wisdom and divine agenda, He often designates specific Places of Blessings at specific times for His children. God is concerned about “WHERE” you are! His first recorded question to Adam was “Where are you?” Beloved, you are on a journey from location to destination. Where you are now is your location in life. Where God has destined you to reach is your destination (Pro. 23:18). On the journey from location to destination, you must “Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established” (Pro. 4:26).

Are you in God’s ordained “place of blessing” for you?

God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and located His man like a King in his Palace of Plenty (Gen.2:8-15). Unfortunately sin dislocated Adam from the Place of Blessings into hard grounds that produced only thorns and thistles (Gen.3:18). Fallen humanity was driven out from the serenity of Eden and deported to wander in the world’s wilderness (Gen.3:23-24). Praise God, through redemption, the Prince of Peace repositions us into His new Eden of Peace: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (Jh.14:27). For Isaac, Gerar was the Place of Blessing. As long as he sowed in that land in obedience to divine instruction, his prosperity was guaranteed (Gen.26:1-14). For Elijah, first Cherith and then Zarephath, were the Places of Blessings (1Kgs 17:1-4). As long as he remained in his “there” the commanded blessings never eluded him.

There are two “places of blessings” that every Child of God must cherish: the Place of Prayer and the Tower of Meditation.

The Place of Prayer is the arena of Blessings. When you stay in the place of prayer in the manner of Jacob, and say to the Lord, “I will not let You go, except You bless me”, then when the day breaks, it will be the dawn of your glorious vision and transformed destiny (Gen.32:24-29). The most powerful visions and glorious manifestations are born through the most painful and laborious intercessions. It costs a great deal of prayer-effort to receive visions with great eternal dividends.

Jabez was born a loser, until a point in his gloomy existence, when he desired and decided to experience a positive change. He simply repositioned himself into the Place of Prayer. He boldly called upon the Lord for the destiny of his dreams. His determination to have his state and status changed for the best galvanized him to pray for four definite and specific requests in one solid statement: “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested!” (1Chr.4:10).

The Tower of Meditation or Sanctuary of Silence is the place of Revelation for Life Transformation. Habakkuk said: “I will stand upon my WATCH, and set me upon THE TOWER, and will watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved (Hab. 2:1). Visions and Blessings are not only born in the place of prayer – represented by the watch; they are also received on the tower of meditation. John Haggai said: The greatest Visions start in the Sanctuary of Silence. That refers to the place of quiet meditation, far away from the busy, noisy, hussle-and-buzzle of life.

God has a Place of Blessing in mind for you at every stage of life. He brought Joshua and Israel into Canaan – the Promised Land that flowed with milk and honey. They possessed their desired haven and wealthy place (Psa.66:12; 107:30). It does not matter if your “Canaan” is currently occupied by giants and wild beasts. The Man of War will subdue all the enemies of your destiny and chase them out of your Promised Land. He’ll take you to your “desired haven” and to your “wealthy place”!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
