WISDOM: GOD’S CREATIVE TOOL

The LORD by WISDOM founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens – Proverbs 3:19

WISDOM is God’s principal creative instrument. Wisdom is His equipment for Creation and Construction. Wisdom was the creative quality behind the words of faith which God declared in the first chapter of Genesis. This is evidenced in the balance, beauty, harmony, and order in the entire universe. Nothing ever gets built or established in God, without wisdom! The Bible affirms: “Through WISDOM a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches” (Pro.24:3-4).

Wisdom directed that Light should precede every other thing, and that humankind should be the climax of creation. Anything else outside of this divine order would have spelt chaos! Similarly, God wants our lives, homes, families, marriages, careers, ministries, businesses to be built through the active application of divine wisdom. Whoever neglects wisdom would wallow in pain and misery. On the contrary, the person who makes it a priority to get wisdom and understanding and walk therein, will bask in favour, fulfilment and pleasant prosperity.

Wisdom is a vital Key in Life. This creative Instrument dissolves complications and finds a way out of every situation. Although the essence of Wisdom is spiritual, it works through the human mind. As we have seen, God is the Thinker of thinkers (Isa.55:8-9). We live in a thinker’s world. Even in the natural, thinkers rule the world. How much more in the realm of the supernatural, where the currency is superior ‘thoughts’! “Through Wisdom a house is built…” - the task of building demands thinking. Every effective builder is a thinker. For you to build anything of worth, you must be a thinker!

Divine Wisdom guarantees the flow of creative ideas that command higher and heavenly results. Such wisdom ultimately announces the ‘carrier’! The Wisdom at work in Joseph announced him to his generation, and brought him overnight, from prison to palace. Solomon’s throne was a ‘tourists’ attraction’ as people came from far and near to hear his wisdom (1Kgs.10:24-25). During His earthly ministry, Jesus’ fame spread abroad by reason of the inexplicable divine Wisdom He operated in. Divine Wisdom is God’s ordained instrument to distinguish your destiny and cause you stand out in the crowd.
