WISDOM FOR VICTORY IN WARFARE

Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good – Ecclesiastes 9:18

For the believer, WARFARE is inevitable, but VICTORY is assured, once WISDOM is in place. This wisdom must however be exercised on the Platform of FAITH: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4). You must believe that God’s Wisdom will pull you through the flames, the fires and the floods. Be ready to WAR by WISDOM? On the pathway of Wisdom, you can never be defeated!

WISDOM is SUPERIOR to weapons of war! Wisdom is supernatural and spiritual; weapons of war are natural and physical! Even in natural settings, victory in any battle is a function of strategy. Much more, VICTORY in spiritual warfare is a function of DIVINE STRATEGY. God has provided in the scriptures enough resources for our total triumph over the enemy: Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Cor.2:14). But we need to apply God’s wisdom strategically, to ensure that what has been wrought in the spirit realm becomes a reality in our earthly circumstances.

Paul revealed the Secret of Victory through Wisdom to his spiritual son Timothy: This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare (1 Tim.1:18). Wisdom teaches us to identify the enemy and his diverse devices: Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices (2 Cor.2:11). Wisdom also instructs us to understand and to use the weapons of our warfare which are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Cor.10:4-6) – the weapons of the Word, Faith, Prayer, Fasting, Prophecy and Praise!

Wisdom teaches us how to put on the whole armor of God, rather than trusting in the arm of flesh (Eph.6:10-18): With him (the adversary) is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles... (2 Chro.32:8). Wisdom exposes the enemy’s traps, dams the flood of evil, overturns oppositions and stops destruction!
