WISDOM FOR VICTORY IN WARFARE

Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good – Ecclesiastes 9:18

For the believer, warfare is inevitable, but victory is assured, once Wisdom is in place. The “weapons of our warfare are not carnal” (2Cor.10:3-5). And Wisdom is major among these spiritual and supernatural weapons. The Bible compares the Christian life to warfare between the forces of light and darkness (Eph.6:10-12). Timothy was told to prepare to “war a good warfare” (1Tim.1:18). We live in the physical realm, but we war in the spiritual realm. We need to know about spiritual warfare. We need to KNOW HOW to go about spiritual warfare strategically and effectively and achieve desired result!

Every Conqueror and Victor in God’s Word overcame on the platform of Wisdom. David lost no battle because he always inquired for direction and instructions of Wisdom (1Sam.23:1-4). Ignorance and neglect could be fatal when it comes to Satans’s attacks on our visions, lives, health, marriages, homes, families, career, businesses, and ministries! Satan uses lies and falsehood to attack truth; and confusion to try to destroy divine order. He brings in occultic influences, accusations, slander, and deception to dismantle and destroy relationships, finances, and health. Satan thrives on Ignorance; hence our chief weapons for victory in life are: knowledge, wisdom, and understanding (Pro.24:3-6).

Victory in any battle is a function of Strategy. God has provided divine strategies in His Word for your eternal triumph, but you need to apply this Wisdom to see that what has been wrought in the spirit realm becomes a reality on earth. Wisdom exposes the enemy’s traps, dams the flood of evil, overturns oppositions, and puts a check on destruction! Wisdom teaches you: to identify the enemy and his devices; to understand and use your weapons of the Word, the Blood, Faith, Praise, Prayer, Fasting, and others; how to present your case before God (Isa.43:26); and how speak to situations (Mk.11:23).

Warfare is temporarily real, but Victory in Christ is eternally real: “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2Cor.2:14). When you are in Christ, and you choose to seek and follow the Instructions of Wisdom, your Victory is surely and perpetually guaranteed!
