Ephesians 3: 13-21

Now to Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the POWER that WORKS IN US” – Ephesians 3:20

GOD’S WORD presents a great Diversity of the WONDERS of HIS POWER: Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the POWER that WORKS IN US, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Eph. 3:20-21). “Now to Him” means that God must be the sole Object of our Praises for the Wonders of His Power. He alone is worthy of our praises for His awesome, multidimensional, and unlimited Power. Nothing in creation compares to His power. The word for power derives from the Greek root of the word “dynamite” as used twice in Ephesians 3:20 – first as a verb and then as a noun. The verb is translated “is able.” Whereas dynamite has destructive potential, God’s Power in the Believer is constructive and redemptive.

God’s awesome Power delivers, liberates, rescues, saves, builds, and edifies. His Power that brought Order out of chaos at creation, does likewise in redemption, restoring broken hearts and lives! The same power that turned water into wine, lifted the lame into wholeness, and released strength to the weary, brings the dead back to life! God’s Power accomplishes amazing and humanly unfathomable wonders. As Stewards of His Grace, God’s Power “words in us” and through us to bring glory to His Name. There is no situation in which God cannot show His extraordinary power. The more hopeless things may seem, the more God is able to manifest His power, and get honour and glory.

Here are five of the multi-dimensional manifestations of the Wonders of God’s Power:

Resurrection Power: that I may KNOW HIM and the POWER of HIS RESURRECTION, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead” (Phi.3: 10-11). Authentic Christianity is rooted in the revelation and experiential workings of Christ’s Resurrection Power. “And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us by HIS POWER” (1Cor.6:14). Romans 8:11 is God’s Promise to every Believer: To give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in us!

Power for Salvation: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the POWER of GOD to SALVATION for everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16a). Paul was fully confident in the Power of the Gospel of Jesus to save everyone who believes, and to transform people positively wherever it was declared. Through this gentle Gospel, God uses our stuttering lips and faltering attempts to advance His Kingdom on earth.

Power for Sonship: And declared to be the SON of God with POWER according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead (Rom. 1:4). Sonship comes with Power! The power that rested upon Jesus at baptism, equipped Him for ministry, raised Him from the dead and declared His Sonship, was the same power that created all things; upholds all things; governs the universe; performed the great work of redemption; propagates the Gospel, liberates sinners from bondage; and preserves the Church. This same power is available to validate our sonship!

Power for Life and Godliness: As HIS DIVINE POWER has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3a). This is a key part of the Believer’s Inheritance in Christ. God has already given us everything we need for life and godliness! However, it is the exceeding greatness of His Power that brings the fulfilment of these “exceedingly great and precious promises” (Eph.1:19).

Power for Establishment: Now to him that is of POWER to STABLISH you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began(Rom.16:25). It is not the Father’s Will that our lives be insecure, weak, shaky, unsteady or unstable. His Word of Power establishes, stabilizes, and settles upon strong footings on which more formidable structures of life can be built.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
