In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…All things were made by Him (the Word); and without Him was not anything made that was made – John 1: 1, 3
The WORD is a Living Person – our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 14 explicitly says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth”! Jesus Christ is the eternal Word of God: “…His name is called The Word of God” (Rev.19:13). The Word was the genesis of every other word. All other words came from the ‘womb’ of the Word! The Word is “the express image of His Person”, the exact manifestation of God’s Person (Heb.1:3). He is the inseparable second Person of the tri-une Godhead. God cannot be separated from His Word. His Word carries no less power than His Person.
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power…” (Heb.1:1-3a). This passage reveals certain manifestations of God’s Word. Jesus Christ is the Living Word who brought all Life into being, from whom all other words emanated, and who upholds all things by His power. God has also given the world the witness of the Written Word, the Bible. There is also the Spoken Word – “spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets” – from which much of the Written Word was derived.
Although we may not see Jesus until the other side of eternity, we are privileged to have the Bible, the Written Word with us. What then is your value of God’s Word? What does His Word mean to you? God’s Word is His Covenant bond to us and His Integrity stands behind every promise therein. When believed and acted upon, any promise of God is transformed into His power (Eph.3:20). Let’s meditate on few of many scriptures on the benefits, integrity, value and rewards of the Word:

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
