Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law – Psalm 119:18
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter – Revelation 4:1
As we step into the second half of the year with sincere gratitude to God, it is in the heart of our Father-God to grant His children insight into DOORS, and to open before us diverse kinds of doors into His array of abundant blessings and amazing miracles. In the next few weeks, we’ll daily behold wondrous things out of God’s Word, as we meditate concerning DOORS!
Today, we’ll ponder on doors in their physical and natural settings, as a prelude to discovering the more significant connotations and meanings of doors. It is the will of God to reveal to us the deeper meanings and mysteries of doors. It is His will to set before us OPEN DOORS. It is His will that we SEE the doors He SETS and that we access them with the boldness and confidence of faith: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him (Ephesians 3:12).
Within buildings for example, there are diverse types of doors for different kinds of spaces and locations: doors to palaces, prisons, temples, dungeons, rooms and tombs. Doors are diverse in sizes, patterns, materials, and forms: tall, short, wide, narrow; flush, panelled, sliding; single-leaf, double-leaf, folding; timber, aluminium, glass; swing, sliding, revolving, coded, and sensor-sensitive doors. Doors open into wardrobes, cabinets, and refrigerators in homes. There are also doors into automobiles and aeroplanes, and security doors that protect storage facilities and the strong rooms of banks.
If humankind could design and invent such diversity of doors, how much more would God – the Creator of creators – create, set or open doors, even where there were no doors. If there is such an abundance of doors on earth, how much more in heaven? Revelation 4:1 reveals that “a door was open in heaven”!
You never know what lies on the other side of some doors, except God reveals it. John the Beloved looked and beheld “a door was opened in heaven” that ushered him before the very Throne of the God of Glory and into the Realm of Revelations! When you LOOK carefully, you will see God's open doors: doors of revelation, doors of utterance, doors of opportunities, doors of favour, and doors into promotion, advancement and abundance – doors into destiny!
In the next couple of days, the Lord who called forth “Light” at the beginning is declaring “Words” into our lives as platforms for our promotion and Divine Lifting. When God declares the word “DOORS” into your life, new doors will fling open; locked doors will be broken through! May the Lord – Who Himself is the Eternal Door – grant us divine insight into the world of doors in Jesus name!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
