YOU ARE GOD’S SEED PLANTED…

Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee… – Genesis 12:1

The scriptures reveal that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1). Humans have also been given the privilege by God to live and to represent Him on earth. One basic law of God is the SEED PRINCIPLE. With this principle, He has sustained the earth with all its animals and plants. The building block of all life is the SEED. Even human life begins with seed, microscopic, spermatozoa and ova. It sometimes baffles my imagination, that inspite of my present size I was once so small I could not be seen with the naked eye. As a seed I could not survive just anywhere but in a woman’s womb. So I WAS PLANTED WHERE I WOULD BEST SURVIVE. Every life form obeys the seed principle in one way or another.

God in His wisdom created land and on it sowed all types of seed. One particular seed that was precious to Him was MAN. Adam was sowed in the best environment to ensure his survival. In other words LOCATION is vital to my success. As long as he was in Eden he was successful. As soon as he sinned and was expelled from Eden, Adam lost control of the land and the forces of nature. Man from then on would not have a natural tendency towards God but towards the devil. Man would now worship all kinds of things in order to survive. Idolatry is therefore the natural religion of all natural men.

For man to be fruitful, the land upon which he lives and works must be fruitful. LAND never becomes fruitful until a supernatural force works on it. With this fact therefore, natural man does all kinds of rituals to make land fruitful. This is where God comes in. Abram was a usual natural man in Ur of the Chaldees (present day Iraq), worshipped idols along with the rest of the community until one day, he had a revelation. We do not know where the meeting took place but it did. It was such a unique, life-changing meeting that a seventy five year old man uprooted himself from the city of his nativity with his wife and all that he had. He had met with the true God – the Lord Jesus Christ. He was shown a new way of worship, a new God to worship. He obeyed God’s call to “leave his country, and kindred and his father’s house” to go to a new land – a new location. From that location in Canaan, Abram who later became Abraham has become the title-deed owner of the whole of Canaan, with millions of children all over the world. LOCATION is vital to success in life. God sees you as good seed; only God knows where you can best flourish.”
