Psalm 126: 1-6

“When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream” – Psalm 126: 1

Psalm 126 is a potent reminder for us to cultivate a POSSIBILITY MENTALITY rooted in Divine Possibilities: “When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream” (Psa.126:1). This psalm paints a vivid picture of joy, restoration, and the amazing power of God to turn impossible situations into triumphant realities. It's a song of return, of a people who had known profound sorrow and then witnessed a glorious reversal of their fortunes. The highest of our dreams can become reality when we embrace Divine Possibilities.

Verse 1, the heart of this message, leads us to imagine deep despair of captivity and the crushing weight of lost hope; then, sudden, radical restoration – so astounding and incredible it felt like a dream. This wasn't human effort but the Lord's doing. This is the essence of Divine Possibilities – God acting in ways that defy human logic, expectation, and capability. What was considered utterly impossible became a tangible reality, orchestrated by the Creator of all things and Grand Designer of destinies! The verse says: "WHEN the Lord restored," not “IF”! God's intervention can suddenly and dramatically change our circumstances, often in ways we never anticipated.

Cultivating a Possibility Mentality demands acknowledging that this is not naive optimism; it's a deep-seated conviction and faith in the boundless capacity of God. It’s the understanding that because God is involved, limitations dissolve. When the people of Zion experienced their restoration, their initial reaction wasn't just relief, but pure amazement and astonishment, as if awakening from a dream. This mindset shifts our focus from "what I can do" to "what God can do through me and for me." Expectedly, Joy follows Restoration: “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy" (v.2a). A possibility mentality expects this joy, even in the midst of enduring and waiting.

God's Work should be evident to all: “Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them” (v.2b). Our successes aren't just for us; they testify of God’s Power to the world. A Possibility Mentality lives with the awareness that our lives are meant to showcase God, even when the trajectory is from effort and pain to ultimate triumph – from Tears to Triumph: “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy” (vv.5-6). A possibility mentality doesn't avoid struggle but sees it as part of the process towards a joyful harvest.

In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:

Seemingly "impossible" situations are becoming divine opportunities for God's Glory. My life is a glorious testimony of His restoring Power.

I will experience miraculous breakthroughs that will feel like a dream. People around me will see and declare that the Lord has done great things for me.

My mouth will be filled with laughter and my tongue with songs of joy as God restores my fortunes. Every tear I sow in diligence and faith will result in a harvest of overwhelming joy.

I break free from every captivity and limitation, and step into God's boundless possibilities. The best is yet to come, orchestrated by the God of all possibilities.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
