“Indeed, if you call out for INSIGHT and cry aloud for understanding and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure” – Proverbs 2:3 (NIV)
Having invested the first month of the New Year on the basics, it’s time to receive unique INSIGHT for IMPACT: “Indeed, if you call out for INSIGHT and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure” (Pro.2: 3-4, NIV). Insight signifies Wisdom and Understanding. It is the capacity to gain accurate and deep knowledge and understanding of someone or something. Insight is a clear, deep, and sometimes sudden understanding of a complicated problem. Insight is the power or act of seeing intuitively. Using terms like “cry out” and “search,” we’re encouraged to cultivate fervent pursuit of Insight for maximized Impact in all aspects of life.
These scriptures emphasize the significance of actively seeking Insight – wisdom and understanding – from God. The pursuit of knowledge is compared to searching for precious hidden treasure, while highlighting that those who diligently seek God's wisdom will find protection and guidance in their lives. Actively pursuing insight leads to a deeper relationship with God and positive impact in our lives. Impact implies affecting greater circles of influence positively; touching one’s world powerfully; and making an eternal mark. Everybody has influence. But some people, by virtue of their purpose and placement in life, have a special opportunity to impact the lives of others in very unique ways.
As human beings we were born to be Persons of Positive Impact; and as Believers, we were redeemed to reign in Life. However, impact is a direct product of insight! Knowledge determines the degree of Impact anyone could make. That’s why it is the Word of God at work in us that determines our worth in life. To make maximum impact, we must respond positively to the Word of God. God needed only one Person – His Son; the Word that became flesh – to make an impact in the world. Jesus needed only twelve men to perpetuate His mission.
Impact demands Focus. What is the dominant direction of our impact? We can only make maximum impact in the direction of our purpose, vision and passion in life. 2 Peter 1:10 says: “Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.” We must know what we are called to do. What is our mission? What is our ministry? We must know where we belong and excel therein. It’s time to fulfil our God-ordained purpose, divine assignments, callings and tasks on the earth.
Only people of purpose and precision become distinguished in life. As we develop the “catch a flight” mentality, we’ll never give in to distractions! It’s time to arise, shine, step out, and stand out through the Instrumentality of Insight for Impactful Living!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
