If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: – Isaiah 1:19
Covenant favour is not an accidental or chance happening (Isa.1:19). God often links favour to FAITH, faithfulness, and even small acts of obedience to His instructions or respect for His principles (2Kgs 8:1-6; Pro.16:7; Mt.25:28). Faith pleases God. FAITH procures FAVOUR!
God urges, beckons, and encourages us to find, taste and experience His favour in all its fullness. What is to be done to set yourself up to experience your own flavour of favour? Our Heavenly Father bestows His favour on those He chooses for purposes of His own. While His purposes often look very mysterious to us, we can so position ourselves to make it much more likely that He will bless us with His favour. Throughout history, godly men and women have done just that.
We can position ourselves by developing the right ATTITUDES and ACTIONS. What kinds of attitudes and actions tend to attract the favourable attention of God? What can we DO, and what kind of people can we BE as we seek to give ourselves the best chance of receiving His gracious favour? What tends to attract His favour?
• A HUMBLE HEART: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up (Jam.4;10); Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (1Pet.5:6)
• A HUNGRY and THIRSTY: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Mt.5:6).
• Being FAITHFUL to God’s plan for your life: “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word…” (Lk.1:38a). This implies being WILLING and OBEDIENT, that you might eat the good of the land!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
