PARADISE OF PEACE

The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed – Genesis 2: 8

Perfect Peace is an integral part of the divine nature. God’s Personality exudes Peace. His throne displays total tranquillity. His Home – Heaven – is a place of absolute serenity. His Presence is the ultimate in bliss. His Heart is the very expression of eternal peace! There is no iota of chaos, confusion, or disorder in God: “For God is…the Author…of Peace…” (1 Cor.14:33).

God’s perfect will for man is to “enjoy heaven on earth”! That is why at the beginning, He planted a beautiful, blissful, and watered garden for the first man, Adam (Gen.2:8). Unfortunately, Adam fell from glory to shame, losing his paradise of peace. In God’s Mercy, He did not abandon humanity in that tragic state of sin. God came in Christ, reconciling us unto Himself. He is restoring the serenity of Eden in our hearts and lives. Although Man was banished from the earthly paradise, through redemption in Christ, even in this sin-blighted world, we have access by grace into God’s restored Paradise of Peace. We have an open invitation into His Palace of Peace, where Jesus reigns as the Prince of Peace (Isa.9:6).

Ephesians 2:17-18 says, “And He came and PREACHED PEACE to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” In Christ, “we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him” (Eph.3:12). Hebrews 4:16 is your invitation to the King’s Palace and indeed to His Throne: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” beloved, welcome to God’s Paradise of Peace. Come boldly into His Palace of Peace.
