VISITATION FOR RESTORATION (I)

When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and TOUCHED His garment; for she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well” – Mark 5:27-28

The Almighty God manifests for varied purposes. He could come either as Judge or as Restorer. His Visitation could be for Judgement or for Restoration. Today, I pray that God will visit you for Restoration. Because God is a Spirit, His visitations are sometimes not as apparent as we would expect (Jh.4:24). Many people miss out on God’s visitation because of their insensitivity to spiritual realities. In this season of restoration, may you be sensitive to God’s Time of Visitation (Lk.19:44).

The woman with the issue of blood could have missed out on the LORD’s visitation and her resultant restoration if she had failed to press into His Presence by faith. Her faith was not passive, waiting for Him to come to her personally with fiery verve and vivacity. The LORD did not visit her personally. In fact, He was in the midst of a multitude and on the way to go pray for the daughter of the synagogue’s ruler who had earlier invited Him. Yet this Model of faith recognised her time of visitation. She believed in and affirmed her faith in JESUS as Maker and Restorer of the human body and all that is within it.

By her thought, tongue, and touch of faith, the fountain and flow of blood dried up instantly; the plague of twelve years dissolved promptly; her health was restored; and she never had to spend her money on sickness for the rest of her life. She could now mingle without shame with the rest of society. She could now enjoy a sweet night’s rest. If she wanted, she could now become gainfully employed and productive. She was restored all-round: physically, socially, materially, and financially.

By God’s Prophetic Word, I declare: every evil flow, every strange stream, every debilitating ‘stranger’ in and around your life shall cease their operations forthwith in Jesus name. Every ‘cancer’ of the spirit, soul, body, marriage, family, career, or business – every seed that my Heavenly Father did not plant in you, shall be rooted up (Mt.15:13). Whatever has been hindering you from rising up in destiny shall go down for you. This is your time of divine visitation for restoration! Touch God!
