The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. Names are very important to us. We are pleased and feel elated when others remember and call us by our names. The fact that someone knows us by name is always a great encouragement. It makes us feel valued, appreciated, and that we have somehow registered with people; that our being here matters. How much more when God calls us by name!

He said to them, ‘COME and SEE.’ They came and saw where He lived, and REMAINED with Him… – John 1:39 NKJV

There is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given among men by which we must be saved – Acts 4:12

The angel announced to Joseph, “You shall call His Name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins” (Mt.1:21). The Name JESUS is the Greek form of the Hebrew word Joshua, which is a contraption of two words, Jehovah and Hoshea, meaning “God the Saviour” or “Saviour God.”
