BEAUTY AND BENEFITS OF PRAISE

Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is beautiful – Psalm 147:1

Establishing the lifestyle of Praise is a vital part of living the Victorious Christian Life. As important as praise is, it does not add to God. He remains God whether we offer Him praise or not. He says: “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness” (Psa.50:12). Praise is actually for our benefit. Living the praise-full life demonstrates your love for God and faith in His ability to take care of your challenges. When you keep your motives pure, and praise Him out of your love and desire to please Him, God is more than able to release His blessings and benefits into your life.

Praise is beautiful and beneficial to life. The benefits we experience and enjoy as a result of praising God are diverse. Praise invites Peace: when you live a lifestyle of praise, you will enjoy greater peace in life. By praising God, you release your faith in His ability to take care of you and your needs. Through the instrumentality of praise, you defeat anxiety and overcome worry. You’ll enjoy your rest seasons and sleep much better.

Praise brings ‘heaven’ to your heart and your earth. Part of the ripples of a heart that is at peace is a family that is blessed for your sake; parents who pray together and can make decisions that impact the family in a positive way; and children who are groomed in a constructive environment. Other divine blessings such as protection from harm, promotion in career, and all-round prosperity find occasion in the atmosphere of praise.

As you faithfully persist in praising God with a sincere heart, burdens are lifted, yokes are destroyed; and increased blessings will begin to flow into your life’s domain. Praise puts troubles to silence. You’ll receive increased answers to prayers. Praise draws favour with God and increases your confidence in His willingness to bless you. Whatever may be your present circumstances, make the commitment today to obey God’s Word and consistently give Him heartfelt praise. Commit to a lifestyle of passionate and prevailing Praise! His Grace is sufficient for you!
