BIBLE FAITH VS NATURAL HUMAN FAITH

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have FAITH as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you – Matthew 17:20

People can talk of Faith but really mean different things. You cannot afford to be ambiguous or uncertain on the meaning of faith, because your deliverance, health, well-being, progress, victory, triumph and very life and destiny may depend on it: the Just shall LIVE BY FAITH! It is important to distinguish between two kinds of Faith: Bible Faith and Natural Human Faith!

BIBLE FAITH is WORD-BASED, God-given and supernatural. It agrees with the SPIRIT and not the mere LETTER of the WORD: “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in NEWNESS of SPIRIT, and not in the OLDNESS of the LETTER” (Rom.7:6). Bible Faith is Faith in God “Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the LETTER KILLETH, but the SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE” (2Cor.3:6). Bible Faith always agrees with and rests on the Word of God.

Natural HUMAN FAITH is mere mental assent. It does not transcend the levels of the flesh, the limited human mind and the physical senses. It is the kind of faith that must see, feel or touch before believing. Such kind of faith may agree with the LETTER of the Word, but not the SPIRIT of the Word. It is disconnected from spiritual realities. It rests on natural senses and on FEELINGS which contact the physical realm only. This is a COUNTERFEIT FAITH, a FAKE FAITH, and the devil’s close imitation of the real thing! Real Faith is the SIXTH SENSE which contacts and knows the realities of the Spirit Realm!

Bible Faith does not DENY physical symptoms; it simply does not CONSIDER them. To consider means to “think about” or to “weigh the worth of.” Bible Faith does not weigh the worth of sensory evidences above the worth of the Word of God and the realities of the Spirit Realm. Needs, problems, sickness, suffering and pain are real FACTS of earthly existence, but the God’s WORD is TRUTH and is more real. TRUTH of the Word is superior to the ‘facts’ in the world. Rather than “consider,” confess or give undue attention to negative symptoms, begin to consider JESUS – the Living Word – the Pioneer and Perfecter of your Faith (Jh.1:1-2, 14; Heb.12:2-3). The Faith of the Bible will never fail. He who pioneered it will perfect it!
