Bible Meditation:
Psalm 5: 1-12

“For You, O LORD, will BLESS the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” – Psalm 5:12

The BLESSING of FAVOR is the covenant heritage of the Righteous in Christ: “For You, O LORD, will BLESS the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” (Psa.5:12). Favor is special preference or privilege that gives someone an advantage over others. The manifestation of God’s supernatural favor opens doors and opportunities to the righteous that can’t be humanly explained. This special kind of blessing that’s reserved for God’s children causes people to do things they ordinarily may not have done for us. Humanity was created to enjoy favor and not to endure negativity. Scripturally, favor is all about the kindness of God: “Blessed be the LORD, for He has shown me His marvellous kindness in a strong city!” (Psa.31:21).

Supernatural favor was what Daniel and his companions experienced when they insisted they wouldn’t eat the king’s recommended diet, and asked to be given vegetables and water instead. Normally, the superintendent should have refused them that request, but God caused him to favor the young men, and therefore he granted their request: “Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and good will of the chief of the eunuchs” (Dan.1:9). The blessing of favor was also at work when Esther appeared before the king and sought his audience at a very critical moment. Appearing before the king without a royal invitation carried the penalty of death (Est.4:11). But Favor broke the protocol for Esther: “So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favour in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the sceptre” (Est.5:2).

Divine favor is God’s countenance shining upon someone. No matter the crowd, God’s favor singles him or her out. Favor will distinguish you wherever you go! Divine favor is above human favor because whatever is from above is above all. The moment you enjoy divine favor, it promotes the favor of men: “For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them” (Psa.44:3). When God favors you, even those who don’t like you will do likewise: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Lk.2:52).

As a child of God, He who favored Daniel and Esther has also granted you supernatural favor. Embrace this truth and determine to live by it. It is your privilege to consistently confess and enjoy the blessing of favor. You should constantly confess that you’re favored of God, and that His blessings are upon you. As you make these personal prophetic proclamations, it won’t be long before you begin to witness attitudes and acts of favor flowing in your direction and into your domain. That’s the realm of supernatural favor! The Father’s favor will surround you like a shield; open doors for you, and bring you to your place of greatness.

The Bible also speaks of the timing of favor: “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the TIME to FAVOR her, yes, the set time, has come” (Psa.102:13). Today can be your day of favor. If you believe, the favor of God will locate you and you will quit all forms of carnal struggles! That will be your testimony from now! You are the next in line for divine favor! All of the above scriptures will find express manifestation in your life! No matter the crowd, God’s favor will single you out in the name of Jesus! The favor of God will distinguish you wherever you go from today in Jesus name!

Declare this by faith: “I am blessed and highly favored. The blessings of God are upon my life. I walk in favor all the days of my life.” Be sure to speak these words into your life meaning every word, and before long, you’ll be basking in the favor of the Lord.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
