Bible Meditation:
Psalm 19: 1-14

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork Psalm 19:1

Today, let’s meditate on the CENTRALITY of GOD'S GLORY. The Glory of God is central to Scriptures and crucial to the Stories of our lives and destinies, both in time and for all of eternity. Nothing is more important than the Glory of God! John Piper has said: The vindication of God’s glory is the ground of our salvation. The exaltation of God’s glory is the goal of our salvation. Indeed, God’s glory is the goal of all things, and the unifying goal of history. All of life and time is purposed to culminate in the Glory of God.

That is why the heavens are declaring the glory of God: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge” (Psa.19:1-2). This can be interpreted to mean that God is “shouting” out His glory to us with the clouds in the firmament. He is displaying His glory with the blue expanse and with gold on the horizons, with the sunrise and sunset, the rainbow in the sky, and the lightning and thunder. God is shouting with galaxies and stars. He is manifesting audibly and visibly: “Behold My Glory” These are similitudes of it – only it is far-surpassing, if you know Me!” A primary prophetic feature of the end-time is this: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the GLORY of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habk.2:14). The Psalmist prayed: And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with HIS GLORY; Amen, and Amen” Psa.72:19).

The Glory of God is not meant for hoarding or hiding; it is intended for declaration and manifestation. The Bible says: “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is FULL OF HIS GLORY!” (Isa.6:3). If we head ‘eyes’ to see and ‘ears’ to hear, we’ll see and sense the Glory of God everywhere. Beloved, we need the eyes and ears in the spirit, to perceive His Glory. Little wonder Scriptures speaks of those, “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the GLORY of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them” (2Cor.4:4). So, the Gospel – the Good News – is essentially about shining the Glory of Christ upon humanity!

Glory is the hidden truth of all created things. The purpose of life is to manifest that Glory, which is the centrality of life and existence. You and I are created to be agents in the display, demonstration, and manifestation of God’s Glory. Each of us is designed to fill the portion of our earth – our domain – with the Glory of God, our Maker, the seeds of which are already planted in us by creation, and especially , by re-creation. In this one life-time, God wants us to partake of His divine nature, and to taste the ‘glory’ of full and fulfilled lives. His purpose is that we impact our world for the better, with His glory; make our marks in history, and fill our locations and generations with the fragrance of His Glory!

Beloved, have you caught the Vision of God’s Glory? Do you see it? Are you hearing the echoes or the sounds of His Glory? Do you cherish and love what you see and hear? You were made for this. This is the essence of your being. Deep within your being, there is a seed of glory, perhaps still covered up with carnal crust or worldly dust that needs to be scraped off. Let the deep revelation of His Word call to the deep in your heart and bring His glory to bloom through you! Please pray this with me: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer” (Psa.19:14).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
