And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God – Luke 1: 35
CHRISTMAS is a season to remember that miraculous, matchless moment in human history, when God chose to express His love for mankind in a supernatural and exceptional way. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). In the Person of His Son – Jesus Christ – God became man that first Christmas, and the world was forever transformed. History is hollow apart from His Story!
It is not possible to accept the Christmas story as truth if we don’t believe in the miracle-working power of God and in the God Who works miracles! Saint Augustine said, “Miracles are not contrary to nature but only contrary to what we know about nature.” Mary – a virgin – heard the angel say, “you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him JESUS” (Luke 1:31 NIV). She responded in amazement saying, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” (Luke 1:34 NIV). The angel responded on the note of the miraculous: it would take a supernatural move of the Holy Spirit. Christmas would never have existed apart from God’s miraculous manifestation.
Wayne Grudem defines a miracle as “a less common kind of God’s activity in which he arouses people’s awe and wonder and bears witness to himself.” We serve the King of kings, the miracle-working God, Who exists, rules and reigns in the heavenly realms while manifesting His redemptive work on Earth.
This season of the supernatural brings a fresh opportunity for us to reflect on, rejoice in and recommit our lives to this God of Wonders. God orchestrated the miraculous events of Christmas, and He has continued throughout history to act in ways that cannot be explained by the natural order of this world. Let us take a few moments each day of this passing year, to commune with and offer worthy worship and sincere praise to our Father-God, the Creator of Christmas.
Our needs should not be viewed negatively as lack or void, but as a force, a motivation and incubator of mercy and miracles. The need in your life is the incubator of the miracle of mercy! Like Mary however,
God would involve you in blessing you. You have a vital role to play in the delivery of your miracles. Every miracle expects and demands a corresponding action. A miracle is a mirage without corresponding action. You must believe and boldly confess your faith: “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word…” (Luke 1: 38). Your miracle is within your REACH even in this season of Christmas – the season of miracles. Go for it!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
