Bible Meditation:
Genesis 26: 1-22

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Consistency is the state of always keeping to the same principles or course of action. The Lord Jesus is our Example in consistency: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb.13:8).To the person who requested to first go and bid his folk farewell before following Him, the Lord Jesus said “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God” (Lk.9:62). In other words, consistency is a fundamental Kingdom demand. To get to the end of an assignment, a project or a journey, demands consistency. To finish the Christian race well and strong calls for consistency (Heb.12:1-2). The assignment may be demanding; the project challenging; and the journey arduous; but ultimately, when you keep at it, yesterday’s toiling shall become tomorrow’s testimony. In thick and thin, remain faithful.

Consistency is a vital and practical requirement for a Life of Dominion. Consistency strengthens the cord of dominion; while inconsistency breaks the cord. The patriarch Isaac was a Model of Consistency. He kept doing what God asked him to do in the face of challenges and odds. He did not lessen his expectation in submission to oppositions. He stayed focused. He did not leave digging wells notwithstanding the threats and strife. God is looking for men and women He could trust with divine instructions. He is looking for someone, whose face is set like a flint, not “spineless” worms that give up at the slightest pressure. You can be that person of consistency by His grace. The pressures of life will bow and you’ll be on top!

Beloved, do not ever give up: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1Cor.15:58). There is Power in Consistency. Trust is built with consistency. Roots consistently grow deep; even through seasons of spiritual dryness. Consistent practice leads to distinction and excellence. Be consistent in your walk with God. Be consistent in your confessions, convictions, career, business, social, and spiritual pursuits.

Be consistent in the Word, in Meditation and Bible Study: “…If you abide in my Word, you are My disciples indeed” (Jh.8:31b); and “be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2Tim.2:15).

Be consistent in your Prayer Life: “Pray without ceasing” (1The.5:17). Daniel demonstrated a consistent prayer life, and God backed him up (Dan.6:10).

Be consistent in Fellowship: “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching” (Heb.10:25).

Be consistent in your Hope and Faith: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” (Heb.10:23).

Be consistent in good deeds: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Gal.6:9).

Consistency gave Paul the Apostle a testimony of an authentic calling: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith” (2Tim.4:7).

God will grant you the grace to walk, work, and war consistently, until the race is done and the crown is won! Alleluia!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
