COVENANT OF EXCELLENCE

Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations – Isaiah 60:15

Our Father-God is excellent in His name, in His lovingkindness, and in greatness (Ps.8:9; 36:7; 150:2). He is also excellent in Power and in all His workings (Job 37:23; Is.28:29). His Plan is for His children to operate in the Covenant of Excellence. God’s will for you is to be above only, never beneath; to be the head and not the tail (Dt.28:13). Every good and perfect gift is from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (Jam.1:17). Our Father delights in giving good gifts to His children. He endows us with gifts of unique success, distinction and excellence.

God is the Pioneer, Producer and Perfecter of Excellence in your life. The Lord created you to be a radiant expression of His Glory – His show-piece to the world. You belong to His chosen generation, His royal priesthood, holy nation, purchased and peculiar people. Our Father’s divine mandate is for His children to display the wonderful deeds and manifest the excellent virtues and perfections of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light (1Pet.2:9).

Beloved, you were designed for distinction, wonderfully and uniquely created, and empowered for excellence (Ps.139:14). The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Excellence dwells in you. You are on a Journey to the Top. God has reserved a place for you at the Top. There is a potential in you to display divine dignity and demonstrate eternal excellence (Is.60:15). You are meant to be your very best in God. You must not accept the ordinary as your ultimate. You must not embrace a life of mediocrity or average existence. You were made for positive signs and wonders in Zion (Is.8:18).

Discipline is the pathway to Distinction. You must commit to a lifestyle of Christian discipline and growth, nurturing your faith through regular worship, personal prayer, Word disciplines (hearing, confessing, and meditating in the Bible), giving, and other forms of Christian service. By the Mercy and Grace of God, you will not be trampled upon or humiliated. The seeds of excellence and distinction residing in you will bloom and blossom for His Glory and Praise. They will germinate, grow, and find full expression. The Perfect Potter is committed to making you an eternal excellency, a joy and pride of many generations. Let God have His way. Let Him nurture the seed of excellence and release the harvest of Glory through you.
