COVENANT OF ROYALTY

I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and KINGS SHALL COME OUT FROM YOU – Genesis 17:6

Human creation was accompanied by a mandate of Dominion and an aura of Glory (Gen.1:26-28). Although Sin disrobed humanity of the garment of glory, Redemption in Christ has restored the Robe of Righteousness and Sceptre of Royalty. Redemption is an invitation to realms of Royalty: But you are a chosen generation, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light (1Pet.2:9). Revelation 1:6 affirms that Christ “has made us KINGS and PRIESTS to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

In Abraham, God modelled the Covenant of Royalty: “…I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out from you” (Gen.17:6). He reaffirmed it to Jacob when his name was changed to Israel – “Prince with God” (Gen.32:27-28; 35:10-11). Only God can transform a man into a nation and bring kings out of one who was not born a prince. Earthly kings and their armies “bowed” to Abraham’s forces (Gen.14:14-20). God trained Jacob to ride in royalty: He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him to draw honey from the rock, and oil out from the flinty rock” (Dt.32:13). God wants His children to ride in the heights of the earth! By covenant-arrangement, Abraham’s great-grand-child, Joseph, ultimately reigned as prime Minister over Egypt – a land that was not his country of birth!

In the New Testament, redemption reconnects us with divine Royalty. Our Father is the King of kings (Rev.17:14). We are the King’s kids. Beloved, the New Birth connects you to a new and higher order of life, where you can begin to WALK and RIDE in ROYALTY, enjoy true affluence and command holy influence on earth! By the Covenant Word of Royalty, you cease being a victim of ignorance, fear, demonic bondages, satanic afflictions, diseases, and poverty.

Dominion is the vocabulary of royalty: Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who may say to him, “What are you doing?” (Eccl.8:4). Dominion is the exercise of a king’s authority within his domain. The mandate of dominion that was lost in Adam has been restored IN CHRIST! God’s Covenant of Royalty empowers you to think, talk, walk, and reign as a king. God desires to train you for the throne. He trains you to demonstrate dominion – to Walk and Ride in Royalty!
