“SEEK the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” – Isaiah 55:6
There is intentionality to developing DEEPER DIVINE INTIMACY: “SEEK the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near” (Isa.55:6). Intimacy with God describes a close and personal relationship with Him; an intimate bond that is built on love, trust, and a deep respect for our Creator. Developing Deeper Intimacy is a vital aspect of our spiritual journey; one that is essential for us and our destiny. It requires a personal and close relationship with God, built on the expectation and belief that He can and will listen to us. But, more importantly, God desires to have a deep and personal rapport with us, which is one of the main reasons we have received life (Jh.10:10).
Developing Intimacy with God goes beyond merely knowing about Him. It involves experiencing God, talking to Him, and listening to Him. Experiencing God is not about Intellectual knowledge, but encountering His Presence in our lives, and growing deeper in trust with Him. Talking to God in prayer allows us to communicate our deepest thoughts and desires to Him. Then, we open our hearts and allow Him to speak to us in return. Waiting upon and listening to God is also crucial for developing intimacy. God speaks in many ways, including through His Word, the Holy Spirit, and other people. When we listen to God, we can hear His Voice, receive His guidance, and learn to trust Him.
In addition, when we seek deeper intimacy with God, we come to understand our true identity as His children, and find validation in who we are and why God created us. As we deepen our relationship with God, we come to know Him more fully and it becomes less of a chore to find fulfilment and purpose. The life as He intends for us, that can only come from a close and personal relationship with our Creator is the offer. To cultivate a deeper intimacy with God through scriptures and devotionals, we must prioritize daily prayer, scripture reading and meditation, and actively seek to live according to His Word, while engaging in activities that foster a sense of joy and connection with Him.
True intimacy comes through prayer, worship, and obedience to His Word. An intimate and impactful devotional life will comprise:
Intentional Prayer: Time that’s dedicated to focused prayer, openly sharing our thoughts, desires, and struggles with God.
Worship: Engaging in worship, praise and thanksgiving to express our love and devotion to God.
Diligent Bible Study and Meditation: Studying scripture for deeper understanding of God's Character and Will, with the aim of Obedience.
Self-refection: Examining our hearts and actions, and seeking areas where we need to repent and grow closer to God.
Divine Intimacy involves a passionate seeking: “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jer.29:13).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
