Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left – Isaiah 30:21
Today, we meditate on the Light of Divine Direction, the steps you must take to accomplish your life’s Vision. Scriptures abound on this: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go” (Isa.48:17). God wants you to have a clear direction and glorious destination. A person without direction is likely to end up confused, depressed, and frustrated in life. Lack of direction will lead to devastation and destruction. Divine direction is a lifelong demand. Every heavenly vision must be heavenly directed! Vision – however lofty – will end up as costly wreckages or outright failures once direction is misplaced. You must know and see clearly the direction in which you are heading. Go for what you want or you’ll have to make do with what you get!
When God gives a Vision, He is able and willing to supply the direction as well. Receiving direction for your vision demands that we “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…” (Heb.12:1-2). The One who authored your vision will supply the direction for you to finish well and finish strong, as long as He remains your focus. It was when Peter lost focus of the Lord that fear took over and he began to sink (Mt.14:30). You need to discover and be definite, in what direction you have been divinely ordained to excel. “…Wisdom is profitable to direct” (Eccl.5:10). Wisdom supplies direction!
You must ascertain the direction of your vision, rather than wait until the late dusk of life before you check the signposts along the pathway. It is proper in the prime of life to “ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established” (Pro. 4:26). Life is a succession of decisions, but decisions are not easy to make. Many people make decisions in life based on natural assessment, rational reasoning, and human calculations, which are rarely accurate. Even when everything seems to be right or appear safe, the end result may be frustration, stagnation or destruction: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Pro.14:12). No amount of human ‘calculations’ can match divine direction: “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD ponders the hearts” (Pro. 21:2).
Every step you take in life either leads forward, upward, backward or downward. Certain ‘open doors’ may be short-cuts to open ditches. Misdirection can lead to decades of set-back, delay or destruction. Some people are still paying the price today for wrong steps taken many years back. A life devoid of direction is nothing but continuous frustration. No matter how fast a person is travelling on the wrong road, he will never get to the desired destination, but end up a wanderer in life! Beware of, avoid and defeat the key enemies of divine direction, namely: distractions, carelessness and rebellion! Whatever does not contribute or add value (directly or indirectly) to your Vision is a distraction. Subjugate them to your determined direction. Like the woman with the issue of blood, defy all distractions, and reach for your desired future (Lk. 5:27).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
