“I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards” – Amos 9:14a
DIVINE RESTORATION is God’s supernatural acceleration of rebuilding and replenishing forgotten ruins: “I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them” (Amos 9:14). The Lord is committed to rebuilding wrecks and making our blessings outrun our efforts. The God of Divine Performance never leaves destruction as the final chapter of our story. When He decides to perform His Word, centuries of devastation can be reversed in a single moment, turning barren grounds into overflowing harvests, and the worst of waste into wealth.
Today’s meditation passage shifts abruptly from prophecies of judgment to a breathtaking portrait of ultimate restoration. God promised to raise up the fallen tabernacle of David, repair its damages, and rebuild it as in the days of old. The restoration described is so intense that the ploughman overtakes the reaper, indicating that the harvest will be so abundant it overlaps the next planting season. Verse 11 describes the raising up and rebuilding of the fallen tabernacle of David. Verse 12 declares the territorial expansion of possessing remnants and inheritance among the nations. Verse 13 pronounces supernatural acceleration: the ploughman overtaking the reaper in a seamless harvest!
Next, is the reversal of captivity – rebuilding ruined cities, planting vineyards, and eating their fruits, capturing the practical fulfillment of the turnaround (v.14). In the ancient world, invaders routinely ate the harvest of the conquered. Here, the Lord decreed against such happening to His people through a permanent security: being planted firmly in their land, never to be uprooted again (v.15). The God Who specializes in rebuilding waste places from scratch, guarantees our sustenance to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Divine Restoration ensures that the enemy will no longer harvest what we sweated to plant. God is moving us from the stress of constant labour to the joy of eating our own fruit. By the authority of His Word, ruins in our lives, careers, family, or ministry will become thriving centres of productivity and joy once again.
In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:
The Lord’s Hand is raising up every fallen area of my life. Supernatural acceleration is at work in me; my harvest is overtaking my sowing.
I will no longer labour for others to enjoy; I shall inhabit my city and eat my own fruit. The days of captivity, dryness, and stagnation are over.
Every spiritual, financial, and emotional ruin in my life is being rebuilt. I am firmly planted by God, and no power can uproot my blessings.
Regarding my health, career, family, and ministry, I will build, rebuild, inhabit, plant, and fully enjoy the fruits of my labour under God’s favour
Abundance of New Wine replaces waste and desolation. My life is a beautiful garden, constantly producing fruit in and out of season.
I walk in territorial expansion, possessing al that God has allocated to me. He is repairing my breaches and restoring lost years with interest.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
