FAITH TO FLY

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint – Isaiah 40:31

Believers are saved to soar, not to crawl through life like worthless worms. You can fly on the WINGS of FAITH! The Almighty God is described with the picture of the Eagle who trains the eaglets in the skills of soaring – riding “on the high places of the earth” and eating “the increase of the fields” rather than the crumbs from human tables (Deut.32:13). Like an eagle you were created and empowered by God to soar as high as you can believe God for; to fly beyond the limiting forces of life. You were not made to merely tread the round of daily toil, struggles and sweat. There are dormant faculties and latent potentials in you, waiting to be harnessed for a glorious destiny.

In Christ, the sky can never be your limit; the sky is your starting point! You were divinely designed to soar above the storms of life and the tempests of time. You can dream in God, develop your dreams and bring them into fulfilment and fruition. You can accomplish your divine vision and achieve your godly goals regardless of any setbacks or adverse situations that may seem to stand in the way. You can soar above the limiting circumstances that currently surround you.

You can make your mark, but you must make your moves. There is a divine factory on your inside. Stir it back into active production: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph.3:20). As a believer in Christ jesus, There is a divine power that is at work in you! Wake up the “sleeping giant” that is your inner man. Stir up the gifts of God in you: Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou STIR UP the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands (2Tim.1:6).

Friend, the summit of success and eternal significance is waiting for you to attain. Do not settle for low attainments in the valley of depression or the plain of passivity. As the old adage goes “the only one that can stop you is you”…
