And HIS NAME through FAITH IN HIS NAME hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the FAITH which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all – Acts 3:16
The Christian faith is Faith in Jesus Christ, and the key catalyst of this faith is the NAME of the LORD! There is so much to say about the Name of Jesus than a life-time would afford. Books abound on this Wonder-working Name without exhausting the wealth of revelation available on it. The story in Acts 3 however shows that POWER is not generated by anything we do but by Faith in the Name of the Lord. The Lord Himself says: “For where two or three are gathered together in MY NAME, there AM I in the midst of them” (Matt.18:20). Whenever and wherever Christians meet in His Name, Christ IS (not will be) there in Presence and Power and where His Power is, performance prevails!
Peter had said in Acts 2:21, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall CALL on the NAME of the Lord shall be saved” “Whosoever…” – God is not a respecter of persons. Also, we see that the Name is available to be CALLED on. You can invite or invoke the Name of the Lord into any situation; and Christ’s Person and Power will come into demonstration and performance. God is not to blame if you fail to call upon the Name of the Lord! Acts 2:38 reads, “…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Identification with and faith in the Name of Jesus Christ is our access to forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Without faith in His Name, our Christianity is fake, hollow and void. Peter said: “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the NAME of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). Peter had something he was able to give to the lame man. He admitted that it was not by his own power or holiness and quickly pointed to the Source of the miraculous healing. This means that you can HAVE the Name of Jesus Christ and KNOW that you have it. Only then can the Name operate in and through you to be a Source of blessings, healing and miracles to others.
Word of Caution: faith in the Name of the Lord is not like believing in the efficacy of a charm, a ‘talisman’ or an incantation formula. It is faith in that which the Name represents, the manifestation of the Father through the Son. The name of Christ is the representation or embodiment of that which Christ is declared to be for humanity, and it is that Name, the totality of His manifestation, in which lies all power for salvation, deliverance, blessings, healing, miracles, prosperity, victory and triumph. Jesus obtained His Name by Inheritance (Heb.1:4); by Conquest (Eph.1:21) and by the Father’s Bestowal (Phil.2:9-10). Therefore, His Name becomes our badge of Authority. The Name of the Lord is not to be lightly esteemed. His Name packs behind it all the authority in three ‘worlds’ – in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth (Phil.2:10).
If you are born-again, God has given you unrestricted permission to use the Name of Jesus. That Name has all the authority of heaven and earth behind it. When you stand in His name against the powers of darkness, you are clothed in authority from His throne. His Name carries glorious weight and irresistible power. Now, go and exercise dominion in His Name!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
