“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” – Psalm 32:8
The Lord is liberal with His PROMISES OF DIVINE GUIDANCE: “I will instruct YOU and teach YOU in the way YOU should go; I will guide YOU with My eye” (Psa.32:8). God really cares for YOU! David declared God as a hiding place from trouble and his Source of songs of deliverance (v.7). Next, was the promise of Guidance (v.8). The Lord then warned against being stubborn like a horse or mule that requires a bit and bridle (v.9). Whereas there are many sorrows for the wicked, mercy surrounds those who trust in the Lord (v10). God’s ultimate call is for the righteous to be glad and shout for Joy (v11).
Verse 8 is God's direct answer to the need for direction, offering a fourfold promise of Instruction, teaching, guidance, and watchful care. God promises to teach, educate, and cause us to consider the right path – "I will instruct you.” He provides direction in specific decisions, not just general principles: “and teach you in the way you should go." God saying, "I will guide you," suggests intimate, individual, and daily direction – through counselling, not forcefully. “With my eyes” is a promise of loving, watchful care, implying a close relationship, as one must be close to a guide to read their eyes. It signifies a tender, personal, and constant supervision.
As our Personal Teacher, God does not simply point the way; He walks with us, providing, watching over our progress, and teaching us the best pathway. To receive this guidance, we must be humble to avoid stubbornness, which is likened to a horse or mule that must be forced with bit and bridle (v.9). In contrast to fear, God's guidance brings peace and confidence, replacing the anxiety of navigating life's trials alone. God guides with His Omniscience: seeing the end from the beginning and navigating around future dangers we cannot see.
Please, join me in these Faith Declarations:
I declare that the Lord will guide me with His eye and I will not wander. I receive God’s Wisdom to know the exact path I should take.
Every crooked path before me is made straight by the Lord. I will not be stubborn; I am obedient to the quiet voice of the Spirit.
I am surrounded by God's unwavering mercy and protection. The Lord is instructing my heart and teaching my mind to discern His Will.
I am walking in the safest and most prosperous pathways. I will not rely on my own understanding, but in all my ways, I acknowledge Him.
God is my Hiding Place, covering my past, present, and future. I am not alone. Going before me, He makes a way where there is no way.
I receive songs of deliverance in times of trouble. I walk in joy because my steps are ordered and secured by the Almighty.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
