Matthew 14: 23-32

For we walk by FAITH, not by SIGHT – 2 Corinthians 5:7

A WALK is a series of progressive STEPS. God cares about our WALK and STEPS: “Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?” (Job 31:4). “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way” (Psa.37:23). There are two ways to WALK in life – by FAITH of by SIGHT. It’s either you are walking by faith or by sight. The two ways are mutually exclusive and are based on two kinds of evidences.

Walking by SIGHT is responding to the evidences of the physical senses – sight, sound, smell, taste or touch. It involves making decisions by the dictates of feelings, conditions and circumstances in the physical realm. The human eyes and other senses are highly limited in dealing with phenomenon that are beyond the natural and physical. They can play tricks on us. Students of perception tell us that nothing is ever actually how it looks to us. If we only believed what we saw, what would a blind person believe? Even in the physical, do we see germs except by the aid of instruments; or electromagnetic waves, except by their effects?

Walking by FAITH means: responding to evidences BEYOND the physical realm. Faith is the EYE to see the unseen. We do not perceive God through the instruments of physical optics. He is a Spirit. We are to relate with Him as He is. “He that comes to God must believe that He is…” (Heb.11:6). Without faith, advancement and progressive in life could be greatly hindered or even stagnated by the enemy. Walking by faith is walking on the Word. When you walk on the Word, you cannot be moved by the storms or weakened by the wind. You cannot sink in the sea of life.

God calls every one of His children to the WALK of FAITH. Faith is our progressive advancement in the Journey of destiny. Faith is the victorious match of Kingdom Champions in tune with the Lord. Real progress in God comes by faith. Faith is demanded if you are to take steady strides in your walk with God in all aspects of life: academics, career, family, finances, health, relationships and ministry. Make that quality-decision today, to walk by faith and not by sight., and the grace of the Lord will enable you.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
