Hebrews 11: 1-19

“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” – Hebrews 11:1

FAITH is the entry dimension into the SUPERNATURAL: “Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb.11:1). Faith is the ‘vision’ of the invisible. The three dimensions of the supernatural are: Faith, Anointing, and Glory. Today, we explore and focus on Faith! The word “faith” in Hebrews 11:1 is translated from the Greek word pistis, meaning “conviction” or “firm persuasion.” Faith is supernatural; it is not mere presumption or optimism, though these may sometimes resemble faith. Faith is the divine ability given to man to go beyond the natural realm, and believe the “unreasonable.” Faith enables us to “see” into the supernatural realm. Faith believes God’s Word and acts upon it.

What assures us that God will act is that He cannot lie or fail to keep His Word: “And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent” (1Sam.15:29). His Word cannot falter or fail (Isa.55:10-11). We must not get comfortable in the natural realm, which is transient and ever-changing. Our faith needs absolute, ageless truths, such as the reality of Jesus, His redemption, His Kingdom, and His Word! God is the Faith God. He sees the unseen and declares the end from the beginning (Isa.46:9-10). When our faith “touches” the supernatural, it gives us a conviction of their reality and persuades us to receive their fulfilment. Faith converts the unseen into certainties in the physical world.

Faith operates beyond reason. Intellect or reason has its place in the making of wise decisions in the physical world. Properly used, reason is a God-given ability to operate in the natural realm; but that’s its limit. Trying to apply the parameters of reason in the spiritual realm will not work. The invisible spiritual realm is superior to, and has dominion over the natural realm. The latter is like a finite straight line with a beginning and an end. In contrast, eternity is cyclic, with neither a beginning nor an end: everything “IS” – everything is finished and complete. Eternity is God’s habitat, where time is surpassed. God always speaks existence to the natural realm from the eternal realm – by Faith: He calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Rom.4:17b).

God created the natural realm, and, while he manifests Himself and His works in visible form in the physical world, He is not bound by the natural realm. He moves beyond time, space, and matter. God set time in motion, but placed within human beings a yearning for eternity, enabling us to live in both dimensions – the natural and the supernatural. Faith allows us to cross the limits of the natural realm and push into eternal realms. Faith in God and in His Word precedes understanding: “By faith we understand that the world were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (v.3a). Visible and tangible things are products of the invisible!

The supernatural realm is where miracles and wonders occur. They cannot be produced by common sense, logic, philosophy, and reason; these are only accessed through Faith! We must decide which realm will drive our lives – the natural realm of time or the supernatural realm of eternity. Walking in the spiritual realm by faith will cause us to receive the benefits Jesus provided by the cross: salvation, deliverance, health, prosperity, strength, peace, and other material, emotional, and spiritual provision required on earth. God gave us Faith to enable us to move and operate beyond the natural realm and to tap into His supernatural sphere and revelation knowledge. Faith not only believes God for the “impossible,” but it feeds on impossibilities! With the God-given measure of faith in every believer is an appetite for the impossible.

We were created to be hungry for the impossible. We do not have to be slaves to the limitations of sense knowledge and natural intellect. God gave us something that enables us to operate beyond the natural realm. It is called FAITH!

Lord, help my FAITH to operate beyond time, space, and matter and move in the SUPERNATURAL, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
