Bible Meditation:
Matthew 14: 22-31

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he – Proverbs 29: 18

Life doesn’t just happen. Life is not a practice session; it is the real thing. It is all about CHOICES and RESPONSES. Successful people don’t drift to the top – whether in the secular or the spiritual realms. It takes focused action and discipline, under divine favour. However, the modern world – with TV, the Internet, social media, fashion and fads – overwhelms us with ceaseless change and an endless array of choices.

There are simply too many choices, too many people to relate to, too much to do, too much to see, too much to read, too much to catch up with and follow, too much to buy. The modern pace of life is extra-hectic. Choice and change not only lead to a sense of fragmentation, saturation, overload and burnout, but also a profound loss of unity, solidity, and coherence in life. This condition can sap our spiritual vitality and neutralize our faith. Herein is the imperative of FOCUS!

To be focused in life means: to be visionary, purposeful and decisive (Pro.29:18). God is focused. At creation, He concentrated on Man. He still does! The opposite of a focused life is the fragmented, saturated, overloaded, rootless life, with little or no principles, convictions, or commitments in which we tend to “keep our options open.” God designed us to be PILGRIMS of PURPOSE, not rootless nomads! When the Lord over the storms directs and commands the ship of your life, you are certain to reach the next port of purpose safely and successfully; you are set to accomplish destiny!

Prayer:
Lord, in the midst of the myriad of conflicting choices and worldly distractions, help me to always respond in visionary faith, positively focused on divine purpose in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
