Bible Meditation:
Romans 12: 1-21

And do not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that GOOD and acceptable and perfect WILL of GOD – Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

People are often overly anxious as to what the Will of God is for their lives. Some end up stagnated in life out of fear of missing His Will. Such people usually see the Will of God as being fixed, inflexible, and predetermined, with absolutely no room for choice or personal responsibility. Although diverse interpretations have been given to Romans 12:2, what cannot be disputed is that God’s Will is GOOD, and that He wants us to prove, know, and understand His Will. Ephesians 5:17 says, “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” God wants you to stand perfect and complete in all His Will (Col.4:12-13). Specifically in the Scripture, the following are parts of God’s revealed Will:

  1. For all human beings to be saved: For this is GOOD and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1Tim.2:3-4).
  2. For all believers to be Spirit-filled: “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit” (Eph.5:18). God’s Word commands and His work demands that you be filled with the Spirit.
  3. For all to be sanctified: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor” (1The.4:3-4). It is God’s Good Will that you walk in purity, and submit your mind, body, and passions to the leadership off His Holy Spirit.
  4. For you to prevail through well-doing: “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men” (1Pet.2:15). This may mean that you to “suffer” for well doing than for evil doing (1Pet.3:17).
  5. For you to give thanks in everything: In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1The.5:18).

Whether fully revealed, partially revealed, or completely unrevealed, God’s Will is always good. His revealed will includes the moral rules, commands, and precepts for living that are in His Word for all to observe. His secret or specific will is that which He purposively reveals to His servants and those who fear Him: Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” (Amo.3:7); The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him; and He will show them His covenant” (Psa.25:14). God wants you to seek His face concerning His Good Will for your career, marriage, parenting, calling, and other intimately personal life-issues. He invites you to taste, see, and trust that His Will is good!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
