GOD WILL MAKE YOU ABUNDANTLY FRUITFUL

That you may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being FRUITFUL IN EVERY GOOD WORK and increasing in the knowledge of God – Colossians 1:10

We serve the God of Fruitfulness and Increase. He designed these into creation, as evidenced in the Seed-Time-Harvest principle: “While the earth remains, SEEDTIME and harvest…shall not cease” (Gen.8:22). Fruitfulness pleases God. Barrenness displeases Him. God desires fruits; and the penalty for fruitlessness is being cut down (Lk.13:6-9). Practically, walking in Fruitfulness and Increase implies: walking worthy of the LORD, walking to fully please Him.

John 15 describes degrees of fruitfulness: no fruit; some fruit; more fruit (after purging, vs.2); and much fruit (vs.5). Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches; and the key to abundant fruitfulness is ABIDING in Christ and having Him abide in us. Our Father-God is glorified and our discipleship confirmed when we bear MUCH FRUIT (vs.8). Believers have been chosen and ordained to bear abounding and abiding fruits (vs.16). May these be your portions as you believe and confess in Jesus name:

• God will make you fruitful and prosperous through meditation in His Word: “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its FRUIT in its season; whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper” (Psa.1:3).

• God will make you fruitful spiritually: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” (Gal.5:22-23).

• God will make you fruitful in good works: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Eph.2:10).

• God will make you fully fruitful in Righteousness: “Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God” (Phil.1:11; rf. 2Cor.9:10).

• God will make you perpetually fruitful: “For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but her leaf will be green; and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit” (Jer.17:8).

• God will make you fruitful right on to old age: “They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (Psa.92:14).

• God will make you fruitful spiritually, intellectually, materially, maritally, financially, and in every dimension of destiny.
