GOD WILL RELEASE FRESH GRACE FOR YOUR RACE

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the RICHES of HIS GRACE– Ephesians 1:7

Psalm 84:11, our key verse for year 2017, invites us to look up to the LORD – our Sun and Shield – for Grace and Glory! It beckons us away from searching for precious pearls amid dross and dung. It directs us to the Living God Himself – the overflowing Fountain of every good thing! The Word calls us away from leaning upon the broken reeds of our own self-sufficiency, to the Rock of our Salvation, where we may rest in blessed assurance! GOD is RICH in GRACE and GLORY! He GIVES Grace and Glory. Neither the gift of Grace nor the gift of Glory comes through our self-effort, but by Faith in Him.

Grace is God’s unmerited favour, personalized in the Lord Jesus Christ (Jh.1:14). Grace is a most sovereign gift to God’s chosen ones. He has the right to give it where He pleases. Grace is the guarantee of God’s love, concern and compassion for humanity, evidenced in the Lord of creation stooping down to touch and transform unworthy sinners (Gen.3:21; Psa.113:5-6). Grace is God’s divine enablement freely made available to man (Eph.3:20). Grace is the divine input that makes up for our human weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings (2 Cor.12:9). God wants us to grow in grace (2Pet.3:18).

“But unto every one of us is GIVEN GRACE according to the measure of the gift of Christ” (Eph.4:7). In Christ, God has given you grace; and will yet give you FRESH GRACE. It is vital that His grace be never frustrated, despised, or disgraced in your life. Grace is the supernatural enablement of your gifts, talents, and assignments on earth. It adds charisma to your calling. Grace makes your gifts outstanding and your calling productive. It turns the common into the commendable. The transforming power of grace turned a mere maid into a Star (Esther), and an uneducated fisherman into an Apostle (Peter)!

You need Ever-increasing Grace in Life’s Race! You need FRESH GRACE for every new day, week, and month. In this Year of God’s Grace, I pray that FRESH GRACE for LIFE’s RACE be your portion. The Lord will give you and I Greater Grace to ascend New Heights, to conquer New Grounds, and to possess our Promised Lands. You shall be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2Tim.2:1). His Grace will cause barriers to bow and giants to fall before you. His GRACE will usher God’s GLORY into the story of your life, so that your destiny can take on meaning, significance, and fulfilment!
