And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it – Jeremiah 18: 4
God touches us, not only to cleanse, heal and deliver, but more importantly, to change and TRANSFORM us. One of the greatest portraits of God and His people is the analogy of the POTTER and the CLAY. The Lord God is our Eternal Potter. We, His people are like clay in His hands. Clay in the natural condition it is found in the ground is unsuitable for use. And we were all made from the same clay (Gen.2:7). The eternal plan of the Heavenly Potter was displayed before Jeremiah as God invited him to the Potter’s House. Today, God invites us once again to meditate in the Potter’s House!
The Potter’s primary purpose is to produce vessels from clay that would be found useful to Him and others; that would reap profit; and bring honour to Him. The process of transforming worthless clay into a useable state takes time and energy. We are naturally worthless to God; but He sees what we can become, digs us out, washes us clean, dries us up, and molds us. God specializes in taking old worthless clay and transforming it by His grace into vessels of worth and honour. He turns seemingly useless raw stuff into receptacles of glory. He turns the mess we were into positive messages to bless our world.
With His hand resting on the vessel, the Potter senses the changes in the clay and takes whatever steps are necessary to correct the error. When the vessel is marred, the Potter does not throw the clay away and start fresh with a new piece. He has invested too much in salvaging the clay from the soil and preparing it for use. He has a vested interest in it. Jesus said, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (Jh.6:37). And again: “…they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand” (Jh.10:28-29).
As long as the clay is pliable, the Potter presses the marred vessel back into a lump, reworks and reforms it into a fitting vessel. Only if the clay becomes no longer pliable to His touch, will He set aside the hardened vessel and choose another lump of clay with which to work. The Potter has absolute control over what becomes of the clay. In His hands, He makes of it what He desires. The sole duty of the clay is to yield to the will of the Potter. God is the Potter. He requires your trusting compliance. The Lord will never have cause to throw you away. He will transform you powerfully, purposefully and positively.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
