GRACE: ALL THINGS ARE READY

Bible Meditation:
Titus 2:11-15

For the Grace of God that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men…

…No person would have an excuse before God not to have received the free gift of salvation. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to save all men (1Timothy 2:4). The question is: Why then are some people saved and others are not?

The answer is simple: not everyone is prepared to receive the gift of Salvation that Grace freely offers. It is not enough to see the grace of God appearing. The eternal benefit is in receiving the Salvation that Grace has come to offer.

Many take the Grace of God for granted. They think it is too cheap an easy a way to salvation. They want to work for and earn their salvation with hands full of good works, morality, religion, ethics and such “filthy rags”…

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses  are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away (Isaiah 64:6).

Others engage in the futility of trying to analyze Grace with their limited senses, subjecting the divine to intellectual debate and human scrutiny.

What is your attitude and response to Grace?

The person who says, “Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner. I cannot help myself. I thank you for what Jesus has done for me. I receive salvation by faith in the finished work of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”, becomes saved, sanctified, and empower to become a son of God. He becomes “born-again”! The person, who shuns grace for works, remains in Sin and unrighteousness.

The Grace of God is not hidden or hoarded. It has appeared to all men. It is not the exclusive reserve of a special set of people. It does not recognize or respect colour, class or creed. God has invited ALL men into His Palace of Grace, to feast on the bounties of salvation. Unfortunately, many continue to give excuses why they cannot come. Men are experts at framing excuses (Luke 14:16-24). God says: “Come, for all things are ready”!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
