“You are of God, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” – 1 John 4:4
In Christ, I AM AN OVERCOMER in Life: “You are of God, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 Jh.4:4). To overcome means to conquer, come on top or deprive an opposing force of its power to harm. I have overcome the world: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith” (1Jh.5:4). I am an Overcomer by faith, not by feelings! I overcome the enemy of my soul – Satan, his demonic emissaries, and the evil world system, by faith in the Blood and the Word: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Rev.12:11).
Overcoming implies winning a conflict; rendering an adversary powerless; or surmounting an obstacle. An Overcomer is a Victor; and Victory is unforgettable to whoever has tasted it. Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith, achieved a Victory on the cross of Calvary that changed the direction of history. No longer was the devil to have sole control over the world (1 Jh. 5:19). Now there was an alternative: Jesus Christ, Who, by His shed blood, defeated all the works of the evil one (1 Jh. 3:8). The finished work of the cross ensures salvation for all who believe. The believer has the same indwelling Holy Spirit as Jesus Himself: “Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 Jh. 5:5).
The Overcomer is one whose self-life has been laid at the cross in exchange for true identity in Christ, in order to live in the strength of His victory. Now we can live “according to the power that works in us” (Eph. 3:20). We walk in the wake of the victory that has already been won, rather than “give place to the devil” (Eph. 4:27).
In the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ:
I am an Overcomer in all battles of life. I am a Victor and more-than-Conqueror. I will overcome incredible obstacles and daunting barriers. I possess the Authority and Power “to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy”; and absolutely “nothing shall by any means hurt” me as I walk in dominion (Lk.10:19).
The weapons of my warfare are not carnal or ordinary, but mighty through God to pull down satanic strongholds. By the weapon of the Word: I cast down negative imaginations; dismantle every high thing that exalts itself against the revelation knowledge of God in my life; bring into captivity all contrary thoughts of doubt, discouragement, fear, and failure; and subdue all anti-Christ spirits into subjection and obedience to Christ (2Cor.10:4-6).
I count on Jesus to resist temptation and overcome sin: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” (Rom.6:14). My Lord and Redeemer, has given me the power to overcome evil, sin, and death.
Jesus Christ has already stripped the world of its power to harm us: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (Jh.16:33). In Christ, I have perfect peace and power to overcome anger, anxiety, distress, frustrations, worries, hate, trials, and tribulations. I will always be of good cheer – taking courage, sustaining confidence, and standing undaunted.
Jesus has conquered for us. Now it is up to us to walk in dominion! The Overcomer walks in the Spirit of Truth and Love (vv.6-11). The Overcomer does not offer excuses to quit, exit the race or give up the fight until he touches the Throne: “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne” (Rev.3:21).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
