“Let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” – Psalm 107: 2
By the Grace and Mercy of God, I AM THE REDEEMED of the LORD: “Let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psa.107:2). I will not be silent, but consistently walk in the reality and speak of the wonders of redemption. The Lord has redeemed me from the hand of all enemies, and bought and brought me into His flock (v.3). He has delivered me from “wandering in the wilderness in a solitary way” (v.4). He satiates the hunger and thirst of my fainting soul with righteousness and goodness (v.5). He delivers me from every distress (v.7). He leads me in the right way by the Light of His Word and Spirit (v.7). I will “praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works…!” (v.8)
To be redeemed is to be delivered from bondage or slavery by paying a ransom. God promised to redeem Israel from Egypt: “I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will RESCUE you from their bondage, and I will REDEEM you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments” (Exo.6:6). He did: “And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and REDEEMED them from the hand of the enemy” (Psa.106:10). In Christ, believers have been redeemed from the power of sin and the curse of the Law: “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…” (Gal.3:13a). Christ’s death on the cross paid a ransom price in full to set sinners free (Mk.10:45).
In Christ we have redemption, forgiveness of sins, and remission or total removal and blotting away of sins by His Blood! Only Jesus was qualified to undo the effects of Adam’s fall. In Him, the promise to deliver humankind from the power and presence of sin was fulfilled. Redemption reversed the consequences of the fall, breaking Satan’s lordship, giving life to the spiritually dead; transforming slaves into sons; and turning children of wrath into children of God (Eph.2:4; 1Jh.3:1). Jesus perfected the contract: “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ” (Rom.3:24).
In Jesus’ mighty name, I declare with Joy and excitement that: I AM the REDEEMED of the LORD!
I have Perfect Redemption: “through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7). I was bought by His precious Blood, and released from sin’s slavery, to glorify God in my spirit, soul, and body (1Cor.6:20).
I have been delivered from the dominion of darkness and translated into God’s Kingdom of Light (Col.1:13). I have been redeemed from the curse of the Law: from poverty, sickness, and death. I stand firm “in the liberty by which Christ has made us free…” not “entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Gal.5:1).
I am free from condemnation (Rom.8:1). I locate and take my place in the Kingdom, to partake of my rights, privileges, and glorious inheritances in Christ among the sanctified (Acts 20:32; Eph.1:11,14; Col.1:12).
As the Redeemed of the Lord, I abide in Zion with endless Joy: “So the Redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away” (Isa.51:11).
As the Redeemed of the Lord, I am called and counted among His Holy People, precious: and “Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken” (Isa.62:12).
All of creation is yearning for redemption “from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Rom.8: 21-22). The signs of groaning creation – pressures, pandemics and pains – are transient aberrations in the evolving Story of Redemption. I joyfully long for the Day to dawn when I’ll be eternally counted among the saints in Light; when all things would be fully and finally restored; when the fallen world will be redeemed, and the story of the fall shall give place to the triumphant manifestation of full redemption (Rev.21:4; Rev.22:1-5).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
