The LORD is my LIGHT and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my LIFE; of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalm 27:1
LIGHT ENLIVENS. Light energizes. Light galvanizes. Light revives. In Christ Jesus is the LIGHT of LIFE: “…he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT of LIFE” (Jh.8:12). This means: the light that emanates from life, the light that gives life, and the light that guarantees Life. He Who is “the Light of the world” is also “the Resurrection and LIFE” as well as “the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE” (Jh.8:12; 11:25; 14:6). “In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men…” (Jh.1:4). Neither darkness nor death has any place in Christ: “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that GOD IS LIGHT and in Him is no darkness at all” (1Jh.1:5).
LIGHT and LIFE are intricately linked: the LORD is my LIGHT and my salvation; He is also the Strength of my LIFE (Ps.27:1). The Fountain of Life is also the Author of Light: “They are abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the Fountain of life: in Your Light shall we see light” (Ps. 36:8-9). The various dimensions of Light – vision, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding – all derive from the Fountain of eternal life. The light, in turn, guarantees a life of abundance and supernatural satisfaction (Jh.10:10). When you receive “the Light of Life” you are energized and empowered to function as “the light of the world” (Mt.5:14).
Brighter light guarantees better life. You are called to “walk in the light” (Eph. 5:8, 14). You have no reason to stumble through life; the more you walk in His light, the more He illuminates your pathways in life (Ps. 36:9). LIFE is the ‘substance’ of God’s Glory, as radiation is the essence of the sun. Just like natural plants draw life from sunlight, the same way you draw light from the Sun of righteousness. No amount of crying can make one see in darkness who refuses to have the light! Outside of light, life is bitter and full of frustration; but God’s Light sweetens your life: “Truly the light is sweet…” (Eccl.11:7).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
