Your word is a LAMP to my feet, and a LIGHT to my path – Psalm 119:105
Light illuminates my today and brightens my tomorrow. It illuminates my place, my position, and my paths in life and destiny! The Light of God’s Word secures and establishes my feet. It also brightens, leads, and directs my destiny-paths.
The Light of Jehovah brightens my Location in Life, keeping me safe and secure from serpents, scorpions, and the subtle agents of evil. His Word is a LAMP to my feet; therefore I will not falter, fall or stumble (Ps.119:105a). If I tread over serpents and scorpions, they will by no means hurt me (Lk.10:19). There is no hiding place for evil in the light. The world is however an extremely dark place and “many lights” are needed to brighten it up (Acts 20:8). Light illuminates my surrounding, and helps me to discover hidden treasures or find whatever I might have misplaced or lost (Lk. 15:8-9).
God’s Light illuminates my Position, bringing me into divine prominence and attracting positive attention and favour. His Light makes me stand out – Outstanding! When His Light shines in and around my life, I can never be hidden: “No one, when he has lit a lamp, put sit in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may SEE the light” (Lk. 11:33). My light is meant to be seen. My heavenly Father does not want His Light in me to be covered, hidden or obscured. He wants it to “so shine before men, that they may SEE” my good works and glorify Him (Mt.5:16). In Christ, I am the light of the world (Mt. 5:15). I am designed to brighten the world with my light and the light of the Gospel (2Cor. 4:6).
God’s Light illuminates my Paths: His Word is a LIGHT to my Path (Ps.119: 105b). My path in life is meant to be like “the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day” (Pro. 4:18). My testimony shall be one of Ever-increasing Illumination. Even in the direst of situations, I can by God’s light walk through darkness: “Oh, that I were as in months past, as in the days when God watched over me; when His LAMP shone upon my head, and when by His LIGHT I walked through darkness” (Job 29:2-3).
God’s plan and promise is for my light to shine out of obscurity: “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard….then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday (Is.58:8, 10b). Alleluia! My Light shines out!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
