LIGHT FOR MAXIMIZED LIFE

“I am the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of LIFE” – John 8:12b

Praise God! This Tenth Month of our Year of Divine Light and Life is the Month of LIGHT for MAXIMIZED LIFE: “I am the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of LIFE.” (Jh.8:12b). We began the year, standing on John 1: 1-4: “In the beginning was the WORD... In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men.” For nine months, we’ve meditated on diverse dimensions of Divine Light. We started in January, with Nuggets of Light and Life, followed by the Light of Purpose and Vision; Light of Hope and Help; Light of Knowledge; Light of Wisdom; Light of Understanding; Light of the Prophetic; and the Light of Divine Secrets. It’s time to shift gear; and to meditate on the Maximized Life – the expressions and manifestations of Abundant Life that emanate from the Light of God’s Word.

The One Who declares, “I am the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of LIFE,” also says, “It is the Spirit who gives LIFE; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS that I speak to you are spirit, and they are LIFE” (Jh.6:63). The psalmist sang of the Life and Light in God and His Word: “For with You is the FOUNTAIN of LIFE; in Your LIGHT we see LIGHT” (Psa.36:9); “Your WORD is a lamp to my feet and a LIGHT to my PATH” (Psa.119:105). Every Word of God is an Agent or Emissary of Life; and this Life is in abundant dimensions. Jesus says: “I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more ABUNDANTLY” (Jh.10:10b).

Jesus revealed: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...” (Jh.10:10a). Satan, the devil, is the thief, with a 3-fold mission is to “minimize life” – to steal (subtract from life); kill (cancel, delete, or nullify life), and destroy (totally annihilate life). That’s what the devil intended for the woman caught in adultery. In contrast, Our Lord Jesus is the Source, Supplier, and Maximizer of Life: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd GIVES HIS LIFE for the sheep...” (Jh.10:11). He who hears HIS WORD and believes in Him who sent Him, “has EVERLASTING LIFE.... has passed from death into LIFE” (Jh.5: 24). Jesus, the Word is also “the Bread of Life” (Jh.6:35).

God would have His children partake of the Maximized Life in all sectors of existence and dimensions of destiny: Maximized Personhood – spirit, soul, and body; Maximized Marriage; Fulfilled Family; Harmonious Home; Liberated and Transformed Life; Blessed, Lifted, and Enriched Life; Anointed and Supernatural Life; Favoured, Focused, Fruitful, and Flourishing Life; Dynamic, Successful, and Progressive Life; Profitable, Rewarding, and Fulfilled Life; Decorated, Colourful, and Radiant Life; Glorious; Victorious, Impactful, Healthy, and Long Life.
