I do set my BOW in the CLOUD, and it shall be for a TOKEN of a COVENANT between Me and the earth – Genesis 9:13
A COVENANT is a promise or undertaking based on certain conditions, with a sign or TOKEN attached to it. The rainbows on the rain cloud, the wedding-ring, the Lord’s Supper, are signs and seals of their respective covenants. The rainbow as a token reminds us of the covenant into which God has entered with humanity, all living creatures and the earth, swearing that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth. He Who gave the rainbow as a token of Noah’s Covenant of preservation and peace, also declares that His kindness shall not depart from us, nor the covenant of His peace be removed (Isa.54:10).
The rainbow is beautiful and desirable, but there are three parts to it: a Cloud, Rain and Sunshine. God SET the bow in the CLOUD as a sign of His covenant with the earth! The rainbow appears when there is a fear of the rain prevailing. God then shows this seal of the covenant, that it shall not prevail. The thicker the cloud, the brighter the bow in the cloud. However dark or depressive the clouds may be, the covenant token of the Rainbow reassures us. When the cloud of Sin overshadowed Eden, the Bow of Salvation resided in the Seed of the Woman. When the thunderclouds gathered on the Saviour’s path to Calvary, He remained assured that the Resurrection Bow was sure to come. However black the clouds of doubt and fear may be, God’s covenant of kindness and peace shall never fail! Look out for the bow: it is always there, often hidden within the clouds.
Not only the cloud, but also the RAIN precedes the RAINBOW. We must endure the rain in order to behold the rainbow! Rainbows are born through falling rain drops that unravel the sunbeams. We must take a stand for God and believe Him through the season of the rains in order to enjoy the rainbow. Diverse kinds of rains – trickles or torrents – work together to prepare us for the rainbows!
The Rainbow reaches the zenith of its beauty under the heavenly beam of the Sunshine. Rainbows are physical consequence of having rain and sun. It is the reflection of the beams of the sun shining upon or through the drops of rain. All the glory of the seals of the covenant are derived from Christ, the Sun of righteousness: “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…” (Mal. 4:2a). All the elements of creation ultimately bow to the Light of the King’s Face! Look out for the Bow!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
