LORD, MAKE ME YOUR DELIGHT

And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was VERY GOOD. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day – Gen.1:31

All of creation – including your life – is meant to be the Creator’s Delight. God created everything with ‘built-in glory’ and for His ultimate Glory – that is, to fulfil the Creator’s Purpose. Only then do they bring Him delight. PURPOSE brings God PLEASURE! All of creation exists to express, reveal, display and manifest one dimension of glory or the other!
Everywhere we turn, we are surrounded by glory in its variegated forms: in the sun, moon, stars, trees, flowers, birds, fish, insects and so on. God designed all things with their true essence – glory – buried within, consistent with their purpose for being. God created everything to manifest His Glory: to display His creativity, by being or becoming all they were made to be! In particular, for the redeemed of the Lord: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephe.2:10).
This is the Heart of the KING – our Father – for us this New Year 2016: to manifest His DELIGHT through the DISPLAY of His Glory in ALL dimensions of our existence. At every juncture in the course of this year, the Lord will evaluate your life and declare: “VERY GOOD” – EXCELLENT!
