Bible Meditation:
Ephesians 1: 7-21

"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling”  Ephesians 1:18

In addition to the inherent Wonders OF God’s Word, there are MANIFOLD WONDERS IN THE WORD awaiting unveiling: "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (Eph.1: 17-18a). God will open our spiritual eyes to the “Hope of His Calling” and “Riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the saints.” He will flood the eyes of our hearts with light on “how rich are the WONDERFUL BLESSINGS he promises his people” (Eph.1:18b, GNT).

We’ve discovered how wonderful the Word of God is in terms of: Being a Treasure House of Wonders, loaded with wonderful testimonies; its preciousness (personal, practical, profitable, and powerful); being our prized possession – the perfect Law, sure Testimony, right Statutes, pure Commandments, clean Fear, true and eternally righteous Judgements; divine Inspiration, amazing Unity; Diversity and Variety; incredible Preservation; Exaltation and Magnification; and the ultimate Wonder of its Central Message – Jesus Christ!

The foregoing are intrinsic characteristics and virtues that make God’s Word unique, matchless, and wonderful. However, the Bible, is also loaded with Wonders in terms of its contents. Going forward, we shall be examining some of these “Wonderful Blessings.” Here are highlights of Seven of the Manifold Wonders in God’s Word:

Wonders of Redemption: “In Him WE HAVE REDEMPTION through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS GRACE” (v.7). Redemption is not in ourselves! Our redemption is by God’s Grace lavished on us, not by self-righteous works. Our redemption is comprehensive – past, present, future, and covering every aspect of life; and it is perfect and eternal (Heb.6: 4-6; 9:11-12).

Wonders of Grace: “For BY GRACE you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of GOD” (Eph.2: 8). Grace is God giving the Greatest Treasure to the least deserving. Grace is also God’s ability working in us to do His Will: “BY the GRACE of GOD I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain...” (1Cor.15:10a). Grace is Power, not just Pardon! Grace is also our teacher in holy and righteous living (Tit.2:11-14). Ultimately, Grace is personified in Christ (Jh.1:17).

Wonders of the New Creation: “Therefore, if anyone is IN CHRIST, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS have become NEW” (2Cor.5:17). In Christ, we’re God’s “Masterpiece” (Eph.2:10). Galatians 2:20 is our reality!

Wonders of Faith: “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him...” (Heb.11:1-3,6). Faith is God’s Lifestyle. It is our Master Key to Power and the world of the supernatural. Faith beautifies and ensures the deliveries of Destinies. Faith defines the Quality of every Believer’s Life and Destiny: “The just shall LIVE by FAITH...” (Hab.2: 2-4; Rom.1:17; Heb.10:38-39). Faith is a Living Force, drawn from the Living Word, to produce Living Proofs!

Wonders of Prayer: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (Jam.5:16b). Prayer is Partnership with the Power of God! God’s Word invites us to pray, commands us to pray, and teaches us how to pray (Lk.11: 1-4; Phil.4:6; 1The.5:17).

Wonders of the Kingdom: “How great are His signs, and how mighty His WONDERS! His KINGDOM is an everlasting Kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation” (Dan.4:3). The Kingdom of God is a spiritual, eternal Kingdom, not earthly or mundane: “For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom.14:17).

Wonders of God’s Power: In Christ, we were redeemed, rebirthed, and endowed with Power into a Kingdom of Power (Jh.1:12; Acts 1:8; 1Cor.2:4). God’s Kingdom in not a matter of cheap talk, but Power: “For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in POWER” (1Cor.4:20).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
