Bible Meditation:
Proverbs 14: 1-12

The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the TABERNACLE of the upright shall FLOURISH – Proverbs 14:11

The Will of God is for the TABERNACLE of the Upright to FLOURISH. The tabernacle of the upright may refer to the body, home, marriage, family, career, business or ministry of the upright – whatever pertains to the upright that was created, designed or established, is founded to flourish. Other words for ‘tabernacle’ are: ‘boundary,’ ‘estate,’ ‘tent’ or ‘territory.’ Here, the ill fate of the wicked is contrasted with the promised flourishing of the righteous. This dichotomy is the perpetual theme of Proverbs. Sin is the ruin of great families. Righteousness is the rise and stability of the humble and upright. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown, no matter how permanent they believe it to be, but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish, by the blessing of the Lord resting upon it.

The wicked may build high and strong houses and erect strong and stately estates to perpetuate their names and monumentalize their memory, yet by one vicissitude or another these shall come to disgrace and ruin: “Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever, their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names” (Psa.49:11). The ungodly put all of their trust on earthly treasures, imagining they would continue in perpetuity! Alas, even their families soon become extinct, with none to be their heirs, inherit their estates, and transmit their name to posterity. Their riches and wealth – especially those obtained dishonestly – waste away. In a spiritual sense, their house or hope of eternal salvation, being built on the sand of self-righteousness, works or outward profession of religion, shall not stand. Though they lean upon it and hold it fast, it shall greatly fall (Mt.7:27).

Ironically, the apparently firmly-founded house is assigned to the ungodly; while the seemingly temporary tent is assigned to the righteous. The wicked with their “houses” are called the “inhabitants of the earth” (Rev.12:12). Whereas, the upright, with tabernacles or tents “have no continuing city”: “For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come” (Heb.13:14). While the former is swept away with “the broom of destruction” without leaving a trace behind, the latter blooms, blossoms and shoots (Isa.14:23; Job 14:9). However humble, lowly or tent-like the estate of the upright may be on this pilgrim’s journey, they shall be established. Their households shall not simply remain preserved in the same state, but flourish in fulfilment and prosperity, moving forward and upward. Their families shall multiply like a flock of sheep; and their substances increase (Psa.107:41). They shall flourish in both eternal and temporal blessings; they shall flourish in the courts of the Lord and in the tabernacles of the Most High, like palm trees and cedars of Lebanon (Psa.92:13-14).

Beloved, join me in these Prophetic Proclamations, in Jesus precious Name:

The tabernacle of my body shall flourish with good health, well-being, and longevity.

The tabernacle of my mind shall flourish with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding

The tabernacle of my heart shall flourish with bubbling joy, peace, and tranquillity.

The tabernacle of my marriage shall flourish with love, rewarding relationships, and fruitfulness.

The tabernacle of my habitation shall flourish with comfort, quietness, and strength.

The tabernacle of my home shall flourish with harmony, serenity, and stability.

The tabernacle of my family shall flourish with friendship, fulfilment, and freedom to thrive.

The tabernacle of my career shall flourish with promotion, accomplishment, and success.

The tabernacle of my business shall flourish with productivity, progress, and profit.

The tabernacle of my ministry shall flourish with unction, passion, and distinction.

By divine Grace I transit from merely surviving to thriving in triumph.

By divine Mercy I move from maintenance mode to maximized living.

My tabernacle shall never be dismantled, broken down, damaged or spoiled.

I enlarge the place of my tent and stretch forth the curtains of my habitation.

I shall lengthen my cords and strengthen my stakes.

I shall break forth on the right hand and on my left.

My seeds and their generations shall bloom, blossom, and flourish.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
