PARTNER WITH GOD IN PRAISE

“The LORD Your God in your midst is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over you with singing”” – Zephaniah 3:17

Beloved, I invite you to PARTNER WITH GOD IN PRAISE: “The LORD Your God in your midst is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over you with singing” (Zep.3:17). Your Father-God is a Singer. No matter what is happening in the world and despite all the evil that transpiring daily, God still rejoices! God still sings! He rejoices over you with singing because He knows your end from the beginning. He is Himself the Beginning and the End – Alpha and Omega! God sings because He knows that despite the current challenges, delay or pain, your ultimate end will read: Glorious! If God is rejoicing, why would you give in to sadness and depression? Why wallow in dejection?

Here is God’s Word says concerning your future and destination: “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace” (Psa.37:37). Whatever may be happening in the interlude or at half-time, the end of your journey of destiny shall be Triumph! “For surely there is an end; and your expectation shall not be cut off” (Pro.23:18). As you sustain an attitude of gratitude and atmosphere of praise, your expectation of reaching destination shall never be disappointed! God wants to see you singing, walking, leaping and praising Him. That’s what the lame man by the gate Beautiful did when God’s Power through Peter injected strength to his limbs: “…and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God” (Acts 3:7-8).

Satan hates to see you sing, rejoice, and laugh because it provokes severe envy within him. Lucifer – the Archangel, who became Satan, was a lead singer in Heaven’s Choir. Musical instruments were in-built within his frame: “You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created” (Eze.28:13). He was “perfect in his ways” – including the Way of Praise – until iniquity was found in him (Eze.28:15). The moment he disappointed Jehovah’s grace, all he had left was Polluted Praise, which he still uses to mesmerise the unwary through occultic chants, worldly music, and vain entertainment.

Beloved, it’s time to join your Father-God, and sing His Praise perpetually, to the shame of your enemies. Is the financial future looking bleak? SING! Have you been praying for miracles in your marriage or ministry? SING! Have you been waiting on the Lord to promote or announce you? Do not hang your head in sorrow – SING! Do you want confusion in the camp of your enemies? SING! Never give room to self-hate or self-comparison. And do not wait till you get to church. Singing is not for the church choir only: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph.5:19).  

Martin Luther said: “As long as we live, there is never enough singing.” Each time you sing instead of sighing, you remind Satan of his eternal loss, which has become your gain. Please declare with me: “The Lord my God in the midst of me is mighty! Therefore, I shall not end my life in shame. My destination shall never be disaster. I shall not end my ministry in mourning. I shall not weep or mourn. I will be glad and rejoice with all my heart, for the Lord has cast out my enemies. The Lord will undo all who have afflicted me. Where I had experienced shame, He will give me praise and fame. Jehovah will make me a name and praise in all of my life’s assignment on earth, in Jesus name!”
