Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 4: 1-9

But we have this TREASURE in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us 2 Corinthians 4:7

Your Potential is that gold mine that you’re literally sitting on. In the beginning, man had every resource and treasure he would ever need (Gen.2:5-12). God did not try to keep the buried wealth away from man, but He was keeping it for him. Every real treasure is hidden beneath the earth’s surface and must be dug up for all its worth. The same is true for the treasures buried in the human heart – our Potentials. Many avoid the challenge of adventure to discover the gold in them. But, life is only worth living when you truly discover, develop, deploy and demonstrate God’s Potential in you. To discover the gold in you, you must first discover the God who deposited the gold – His purposes, plans, and priorities for your life. Because you are His workmanship, He knows exactly what He has placed in you, why He did and where they are located.

The deposits of divinity make us invaluable despite the frailty of our humanity. Divine inspiration gives life, sense of worth, and meaning to seemingly worthless vessels (2Cor.4:7). His Potential in us gives us value, excellence and a life of dignity. There is genius in you longing to be ignited, vast potential pining to be harnessed, and greatness waiting to be summoned. You have treasures in you that the world needs. Take time to discover them. If you continue to see what you have and what you are as little, you may never make much in life. Most people could do more that they think they can. When you’ve put a limit on what you will do, you have limited what you can do. Paul affirmed: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil.4:13). No one can predict to what heights you can soar. Even you will not know until you Spread your Wings!

There are seeds of greatness and glory in you. Fruitfulness is the potential destiny of every seed. A seed that does not result in fruit is a wasted potential. Every believer has a “good land” and “power to get wealth” – intangible potentials with which to create the tangible blessings we desire (Dt.8:7-10,18). Treasures in crude form lie deep in the earth. It is our responsibility to dig them up, process, polish, market and make profit from them. In the same vein, you must begin to trade with your talents; rather than bury them (Mt.25:14-18). Seek for ways to multiply, maximize and market your talent into something of great value to your world. Those who make excuses seldom make anything worthwhile of their lives. You must learn to mine, measure, manage, multiply, maximize, and market your resources. And, the only place to start is where you are. Start with what you have, not  what you don’t have. To be upset over what you don’t have is to waste what you do have.

The Question for each person to settle is not what he would do if he had the means, time, influence and educational edge, but what he would do with the things he has. God always gives us the ability to create what we need from something that is already here. Teddy Roosevelt said, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Are you ready to free the genius in you and to unlock your Potential? Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone and unleash the incredible potential on the inside? You can awaken your potentials through prayer, Word-meditation, and action (Jos.1:6-8; 2Tim.1:6).  Be orderly: stop scattering your potential in diverse directions! Learn – by revelation, education, experience, and mentoring – to maximize your hidden Potentials. Zig Ziglar said: “When you catch a glimpse of your Potential, that's when Passion is born” – that’s our next port of call!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
