Bible Meditation:
Romans 5: 12-21

“...Those who receive abundance of GRACE and of the gift of righteousness will REIGN in LIFE through the One, Jesus Christ” – Romans 5:17

On the Podium of the Covenant of Grace, we are saved to stand, walk, grow and REIGN IN LIFE BY GRACE: For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of GRACE and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ” (Rom.5:17). We are meant to live through the Power of Grace!

Let’s recall how far God has brought us by His Grace:

By grace, we are declared righteous. All condemnation, guilt and shame have been removed, and Christ’s righteousness is credited to us as ours: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2Cor.5:21). Now we can live boldly for Jesus no matter who we once were.

By grace, we’ve become members of God’s family. A spiritual adoption took place that made us to become children of God, able to call Him Father: “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father (Rom.8:15). Although the world may see us as nothing, we rejoice as children of the King.

By grace, we are made co-heirs with Christ: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirsheirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…” (Rom.5:16-17a). Our eternal inheritance is guaranteed: “to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you(1Pet.1:4). We’ve been set free from the lure of materialism, having been made rich in righteousness and in eternal things (2Cor.8:9).

By grace, we have new life. When we trust in the Saviour, we are born again and receive a fresh start: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2Cor.5:17). The seal of this new life is the indwelling presence of God’s Holy Spirit, who transforms us into the image of Christ and guarantees our future resurrection: “having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory (Eph.1:13b-14).

By grace, we are freed from the power of sin, Satan, and self. Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness, walk in holiness, and live righteously in obedience to God (Tit.2:11-12).

Through GRACE, we’ve obtained all that it takes to REIGN IN LIFE over sin, Satan, all evil, the flesh and the world!

God’s Grace that has been bestowed upon us is supernatural! It brings favour, prosperity, health and supernatural increase. It’s the manifestation of God’s love, compassion and power; the outward reflection of a divine influence in the human spirit.

Grace brings acceptability: “to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved (Eph.1:6). It ushers us into honour and dignity, as it attracts the right people, circumstances and resources in line with God’s purpose, into our lives. Even in challenging situations, grace gives us the advantage and causes us to rise above every adversity.

Grace sets us apart for distinction, excellence, excellence, and glory. There’s absolutely nothing in this world – affluence, fame or fortune – comparable with what the grace of Jesus Christ has delivered to us. That’s why we are admonished “not to receive the grace of God in vain” (2Cor.6:1). Rather, we must “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2Tim.2:1).

Let’s rejoice for the grace that God has profusely lavished on us. Let’s walk in the fullness of Grace, knowing and declaring that our lives are manifesting His glory, excellence and greatness! We are ordained to reign in life by Grace! “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2Cor.13:14).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
